There was nothing remarkable about them. Nirvana was just another minimalistic band but with simple and mediocre songs. They didn't create any new sound or change the music landscape.
Nirvana was only mainstreamed to introduce the concept of ‘depression’ to the masses and get them hooked on SSRIs.

you think Jews control Hollywood but somehow they would leave the music industry alone?

if you listen to popular music you are an NPC anyway, cause it sucks

this is the Jewish fallacy, they strive so hard to control NPCs only it's not even worth it cause they were soulless and irrelevant to begin with

they played a significant role in destigmatizing and mainstreaming it. being a weak and useless fag is supposed to be something to be ashamed of and now it is not only normal but celebrated.
>>
>>515132407
Nirvana was actually organically popular. It was less about being a depressive junky and more about just wanting things to return to some semblance of normality.
The 1980s were all about degenerate hair metal and gay synth pop bands, with everyone dressing up like a bunch of cartoon characters with bright, gaudy colors.
Obviously the vast majority of the grunge scene was astroturfed, but it was only to exploit the successes of the breakout acts.

I will never understand why people think he was worth anything past his first two albums. Hip-hop Eminem had some talent and rap artists Eminem sucked balls.

>>515132407
Both things could be true. They were a really good band who produced masterfully written pop tunes with a hard edge and nihilistic lyrics, which was a sound no one had ever heard before. Their synthesis of catchy pop and rebellious hardcore could be appreciated by everyone from knuckle-dragging retards to pretentious art snobs. They revolutionized pop music for at least the next decade and their impact is still felt today. They were also a jewish psyop meant to demoralize the white race and usher in their replacement and ultimate destruction in the decades that followed.

Grunge was just watered down HxC for normie radio-listeners. I like it and get nostalgic over it but it was still mainstream slop disguised as youth rebellion. Hell Mtv (aka (((Viacom))) backed it with big $$$.
Not to mention it was just Gen-X slackers singing about first world problems that eventually spawned the modern danger-hair fad with "riot grrls". At least glam metal wasn't pretentious about it, it was just dudes singing about getting pussy, kicking ass and partying.

I lived in Seattle in the 90s and during the rise and fall of Nirvana. Nirvana was viewed as the first to "break through" but nowhere near the most popular. Pearl Jam and others did free concerts and were considered more popular including by local newspapers.

The canonization of Nirvana as some idiot "voice of a generation" never happened until April 1994 when Courtney killed him. August 1993 or so Kurt got arrested for domestic abuse, and things were not looking so good.
>>
>>515142143
A record label can push a band to their heart's content, but that's not gonna translate into record sales, concert attendance, or sustained cultural relevance.
People have to actually want the product.
The idea that record labels were able to brainwash people into buying whatever (((they))) wanted them to buy is absurd.
Nirvana just happened to be a normal band with normal people wearing normal clothes in a time where everything else was fake and gay.
>>
>>515132754
I don't know about control of the music industry, honestly don't, but we used to control Hollywood because we built it. Now it's been taken and seems to belong to the Chinese, but we built it. If others wanted to control a movie business, they could have built their own. Blacks sort of did, with BET.

It's valid to say that maybe Pearl Jam was more popular for a couple years in a specific place.
Fast forward 30 years, and despite the fact that Pearl Jam has continued putting out records and touring all this time, Nirvana is still the more listened to band despite doing no publicity or advertisements at all.
How do Nirvana-deniers explain this?
Dying early doesn't explain the sustained relevance, as we see with Blind Melon and Sublime.
It's not record labels brainwashing the goyim.
Fact of the matter is, Cobain's music just resonates with a greater amount of people.
>>
>>515132407
>Nirvana was only mainstreamed to introduce the concept of ‘depression’
And their music was so depressing that Cobain had to shoot himself just because he wanted to stop playing in this mediocre mainstream band. Just like Ozzy he was a singer who couldn't sing

interesting in that image you posted there, the people in it that was chosen for it.

to know how the world works, you need a working physics model. Physics explains, anyone who uses math in physics is a disinfo agent or misguided and literally just dumb.
The Rope Hypothesis,

I ask myself, was he a plant? He seemed legit. Up until I began to try to talk to him. Then he would stray off the topic, and even switch the subjects around. Theres 2 theories, we both thought of. he seemed legit at first when I talked to him and saw his videos. Then I started talking to him, and it switched. He even said earlier that it was one what he switched to started to say. The other theory is about Human extinction.

Each puppet they’ve pushed as time goes by gets more and more degenerate and less talented with a more negative impact on society I’ve noticed. After Eminem it was Lil Wayne and look at the state of popular music as it is now. The youth all listen to complete talentless autotune mumbling and it’s directly because of him.

Nirvana was a great band and their popularity was not manufactured. Nevermind still sounds fresh today and back then was something completely new and original.
Kurt on the other hand was a self destructive retard with a bad diet problem.
>>
>>515146350
Sublime were never a cultural phenomenon spammed on MTV 24/7 so the narrative on their legacy isn’t as strong as nirvana plus blowing your brains out with a shotgun is more impactful than some fag ODing

You have literally, absolutely zero idea what you are talking about you absolute fuckiking imbecile. Nirvana were not pushed in the slightest, Geffen could not keep up with demand for Nevermind and had to lease new factories and cancel production of every other album they were putting out, they had no idea how popular they were going to be.
Nirvana were a great band who sounded like absolutely nothing else at the time, it was literally a seismic shift in popular music and you have no conception of it. That is why they were popular with men, they were equally popular with women because of Kurt Cobain.

>Never understood boomers' and dadrockers aversion to synthesizers
Because it sounds fruity as hell most of the time. I say this despite liking a lot of synth stuff. The crisp echo of an electric guitar droning out a single note can make your hair stand up and send chills down your back. Only very specific synth sounds can do something remotely similar.
>>
>>515132407
>just another minimalistic band but with simple and mediocre songs
>They didn't create any new sound or change the music landscape

they were really part of the wave of noise rock/post-hardcore bands that were making waves in the underground at the time. they were seen as the more marketable band of the scene because kurt was handsome and liked to write pixies-esque songs with catchy hooks which were obviously watered down further by the big label recording process. as far as i can guess, kurt knew he was selling out and didnt care because he was a junkie.

This. I was there, thrashing to Slayer, Maiden, Priest, Ozzy, Metallica etc al. Early 90's came and suddenly they cancle the Headbangers Ball on MTV and this new 'style' called 'grunge' comes out of nowhere. Metal bands that were previously filling stadiums, nos, suddenly couldnt get contracts resigned or dissolved and broke up. Look up the great metal meltdown.
>>
>>515150053
cause thrash mutated into death metal and other extreme forms of metal and became less and less normie friendly with all the satanic imagery and guttural sounds, was too much for most. The fuck do you expected thrash to continue being mainstream all through the 90s? it was a 80s thing
>>
>>515151101
You're a fucktard who doesnt read. All these thrash bands were on full blast then. Everyone was into them. Then, suddenly, almost none of them could get a contract re-signed by the labels, who all switched, in unison, to promoting 'grunge', an untested newcomer. Why would they turn away $ producing acts en mass for that? Some of those bands, like Priest, Metallica are still around because the true fans never let them die but all the rest, dropped by the 'system' because it wanted a culture change.
