I’m going to air some dirty laundry. May SecWar will see the bad politics of promoting a DEI sycophant, and the dirty politics at work behind the scenes. The front runner for USAF Chief of Staff was Gen Thomas A. Bussiere, responsible for the successful Iran strike. But retired Gen Wilsbach is being advanced despite known advocacy for DEI initiatives. https://x.com/libsoftiktok/status/1964013180226584656?s=46&t=gcKyTmIgoK4yo6ZysCplLAAnother interesting thing is the several Twitter bots that exist with his picture and name, espousing Christian motivational messages or other military posts, which were created in recent months. The politics behind this is Wilsbach being a fighter pilot and part of that crony mafia, whereas Bussiere is a bomber. A powerful but strategically overinflated faction of the USAF (air combat command) is trying to protect their position.
