Nepal in facing some huge political changes. Within the last two days the PM has resigned, numerous governmental buildings are set on fire and the country lacks any leader as of now.It started with a GenZ protest against corruption (which there is a lot of, international donations mis handling, hiding money etc etc). The protest was supposed to be peaceful but the political parties inserted their own people to make it violent. Just on the first day of the GenZ protest, a kid was killed. Everything went haywire on the day after(yesterday), all the burning and all happened, the PM fled the country. Among all that the mob freed a political leader who was jailed, along with that every other prisoners, now there are more than 5000 prisoners walking freely.Now the main point is that the GenZ folks were fighting against corruption but the maoist party here is taking advantage of the situation and are pushing their own agenda. There is also the team of the escaped political leader, who is forwarding their own agenda. On top of that there are also pro monarchy groups. GenZ do t want any of these and their voice is being suppressed.We want a democratic government which is suitable for our small country. But the narrative is constantly being changed, Ike GenZ are the ones who did the destruction (when it is clearly visible that people over 30 are in the videos)On top of that they are suppressing the voice the true youth and are claiming themselves as GenZ.I feel like our country needs some help.

The protests didn’t really succeed in their main goals. It was too disorganised and the goals too complex and hard to accomplish so I doubt anything will fundamentally change long-term.
