It might well be the case that Liberals possess the same amount of total empathy as Conservatives do, but they give this empathy to meaningless things like trees, rocks, refugees, criminals, etc. I'm not saying that Liberals don't love their families, but the love they have for their families is minuscule in comparison to their love of all things that are foreign. With Conservatives its the complete opposite way around. A Conservative will look at a Moon rock as a neat thing, but they would NEVER value that rock more than their own families. That's the difference in how Liberals and Conservatives view the world.

Unironically true. Middle class liberal parents tend to put their social causes before their children and instill a shame for existing centered around such causes. If you go to any rehab, detox, mental institution in a blue state you will find many obvious products from these homes, including the wealthy ones.
