These images in particular are a powerful propaganda tool because it isn't NSFW, you don't need to make people understand your views, you don't need to make them acknowledge the complex underlying issues, all it needs to do is remind women of the abuse they suffered at the hands of their fathers/boyfriends and make them feel like strangers in public have the power to reintroduce the dynamic of those dark days on them whenever they feel like. There's no effective argument against them drawing a direct parallel between this and memories of them similarly curling up on a bed or staircase after being hit and yelled at by an imposing man standing over them. It's a purely emotional response which liberal politics has always exploited and fostered, and now the wrong one is being let through.
