Politics is the truce between warring parties after a civil war. It's not entertainment. It's not a hobby. It's the reason your neighbor is not trying to kill you and rape your daughter. Now I know that in the US people are not familiar with this concept because they're used to having B-series actors (Reagan) or television pundits (Trump) as "leaders", but the reality is that civil war is always behind the corner and that the job of politicians is extremely important for the stability of the country and YOUR personal safety. Now, today's shooting was probably just a CIA hit to distract from the Eipstein files but it's important that /pol/ never loses focus on the fact that you need to always take politics very very seriously.
