I live in vancouver, before the 1980s we had more neon than vegas but fucking WOMEN on the city councill voted to jack the tax on the signs because they were "tacky" and it killed the neon. Theres a museum where you can see some of the old signs.

I was like 22 and stupid, I really didn't know how to play blackjack with casino rules and format. Dealer was friendly and helped me out , played few hands and walked about +$70 which was nice for someone that never gambles
