There is no such thing as a high income cheap place. Those don’t exist anywhere in the world because of cost disease. Cheap places are poor places, and poor places are suck to live in.

if the incomes are high then the homes will be priced accordingly at 4x the gross average household income, same as literally anywhere else in the US.
>>
>>515573175
The Stats online imply housing is dirt cheap. The State subsidizes public housing which keeps rents low.
>>
>>515572607
You're leaving $30k on the table to live in TX vs MA, and getting less for your money with the exception of square footage.
>>
>>515573284
>>30% white

So? You have grocery stores, you can buy steaks whenever you want. You can go drink beer, you can go do what you want.

>nice but not cheap.
The average house is below $500k.

>bro... canada
It's where I live and it's the cheapest place i can think of with high incomes

>insane taxes
Only if you're rich. They're a progressive tax system so if you're rich you pay a lot, and if you're that rich you don't need to worry about cheap cost of living.

>>515573330
If a place provides the ability to eat food and drink water and put a roof over your head, it's nice.
>>
>>515572295
You can build a small home on an acre for under $200K in beautiful places. Doing the work yourself, or prefab. But the closest job or post office will be an hour away. Dealing with it right now(quonset style), but prices are dropping for bare land. Season and market related.
>>
>>515573654
I just know houses are dirt cheap in Texas
>>
>>515573822
If it's only an hour away why don't people do that?
>>
>>515571063

>Buy land in bumfuck, Montana/Dakota/Arkansas/any fly over state

>No plumbing, have to invest in septic tanks, and pay an ungodly sum to get serviced. Even worse if you have a plumbing emergency (you will)
>No grid to connect to, have to invest in solar/generator/wind/all the above. God help you if you're in a natural disaster
>Have no where to work so unless you're a trust fund baby or work remote you're SOL
>Its not 2020 anymore so WFH is nearly extinct
>Internet service is non-existent, Starlink runs at $120/mo

Anyone that tells you living remote is cheap is a real estate shill. The land and *maybe* the construction is cheap, everything else you have to pay yourself and is exponentially more expensive to maintain because surprise surprise, utilities and services charge more when you're outside their clusters of customers.
>>
>>515572295
What you're saying is that nothing can be nice without (((investors))) getting their grubby claws on it and making prices soar. This is patently untrue. Natural beauty exists independent of Jewry.

the only way you're building a home for $200k is if you do literally everything yourself. like the entire digging of the foundation, plumbing, framing, electrical, finishing -- EVERYTHING. construction costs these days are like $200/sq ft minimum.

>>
>>515574304
$70k is entry level. It's the equivalent of $50k pre-covid, which wasn't a good salary even in poor small towns, who have eaten the same inflation as the rest of us without the wage increases people in higher cost of living areas with more dynamic economies have enjoyed.
>>
There are nice, cheap places on a lot of small towns and cities, the problem is that they're cheap because there are no job opportunities in said areas. Your only chance is to find a stable job before moving.

The other problem is that there's less isolation from poorfags in those areas.
>>
>>515574260
Rich people do too.

70k is what you get at the end of your career. It was rich before Covid and it's rich now.

Earning anymore than 70k will put a target on your head, both from vigilantes and from the IRS.

You can download the humanure book some place to know how to deal with shit without a septic

There is the $50 underground house handbook that teaches you how to build a home discretly underground. It'll be hard to find, and even if the tax man appeared, they don't even have a protocol to charge for a hole in the ground.

It would take some work, but not so much money as you are suggesting.

I can tell you've never owned a home. See, when you're owning a home, everything you take for granted living in Mr. Goldberg's flat comes out of YOUR pocket. Living in a non-rented home is more than >muh monthly mortgage

Trust me, I went from a renter to an owner and all the extra costs and maintenance took me a little by surprise, I don't blame you for having a parochial view of home ownership. My AC gave out (was old), had to pay for that, my water line broke, had to pay for that. I couldn't imagine paying for all that in the middle of hicksville where there's probably 1 or 2 firms that could actually service me.

It's actually a non-profit. A third of the country lives in social housing, which is not funded by the government but run by local non-profits. You can get cheap housing up until a bit above a modal salary. And people like policemen, teachers, nurses and everything they find sad get priority. But if you start earning more you don't have to leave your house.

Initially my rent was 770 euros. But because I got the appartement when I got my first job in oktober that year, my income that year was really low. So they lowered my rent to 585 euros a month. But as I earned an above modal salary each month I was kind of surprised they did that. They have slowly been increasing my rent ever since, to the 630 euros that it is now.

That's literally the extent of my living expenses in America. No I don't own a car, because I'm tough enough to walk two miles up the county road carrying a 30 pound sack of groceries in my arms. And no I don't have a cell phone plan either. Free WiFi calls and texts are good enough. No health insurance either. My manual labor job and general lifestyle keeps me fit and healthy. On days off, I can hike up into my gorgeous mountain backyard.

$50k was what a GS-7 secretary made in Houston 10 years ago. I'm really intrigued how this guy ended up in this situation now.

Most of my college friends with chemical engineering degrees get paid very well and live in the middle of nowhere near pulp mills and stuff like that. One owns an entire island in a lake in the Ozarks. They're kings of their towns.

>apply for 1000 jobs

>2 offers are salary

To be fair, that describes almost everywhere in the US. The only thing that differs is the weather.

Housing provided without profit to the working class? Sounds a little anti-semitic if you ask me. Here in America, affordable housing means that the government pours money into the pockets of wealthy landlords if they agree to rent to poor people (usually non-productive single moms on welfare whose kids then grow up to wreak havoc around town).

As most houses are already paid off, the corporations don't have to ask for much. And still get enough funding to build new houses. And if they need a financial injection, they just sell houses to the people who live in them.

Funny, when I was going to college in the early 2010s, the chemical engineering degree was considered one of the worst positions to enter, with the most rapidly declining number of jobs out of any field. But with this big push for revitalizing domestic manufacturing, it's seeing a big comeback. I always wanted to spend my life fucking around with toxic chemicals in a lab, but instead I find myself mowing grass on a golf course.

probably the worst thing about being poor is the isolation, when you need someone or some help, people just aren't there, you gotta figure it all out yourself, make sure you're setup for it if you're going the long haul, pretty easy to get sent down shit creek without a paddle in this life and no one will care if you die from it either, not a fucking soul.
>>
>>515581579
That's one part.

You need to then get stellar marks AND have an internal family member referal.

>You can download the humanure book some place to know how to deal with shit without a septic
I'm not surprised a retard talking with confidence has never actually done the thing he's talking about, rural areas also have building codes you fucking moron.

American cities like Boston are full of old houses which were paid off centuries ago, yet rents are among the highest in the world because "muh market factors". It's pure passive-income profit for the owning class, apart from the occasional maintenance expenses.

I started out living in my van here and sleeping for free on nearby public lands, which cost me as little as $400/month (most of that being food). My boss then renovated an apartment above his business for me, and I got rid of my van as it was no longer necessary. A twice-daily bus goes to Denver from here, and from Denver I can fly out to anywhere I please.

$83k annually is median income in the US.

>but they are isolated
Which means no economy
>>
>>515581678
Social isolation is the lot of being a low-value, unlikeable male. You must learn to make life choices which ensure that you will not need help, ever.
>>
Unless you live in Canada, in which a house is 2 million dollars and you're still surrounded by assholes, meth addicts and turdies.
>>
>>515582132
Don't they eventually want to give back to the community. Philips used to build houses for poor people in Eindhoven. ASML is now also building houses for poor people.
>>
>>515583312
Or make choices where self isolation doesn’t become your only option. It’s not all that hard to get an education or career training if you have some basic communication skills and can interact with others.

We all graduated around '99 and 2000 so the market for them might have been different back then. I don't recall any of them complaining about having a hard time getting a job. It is a shame that in the US there's so much pressure to go into STEM fields but the market goes up and down constantly, making it a gamble what will be waiting upon graduation.
>>
>>515582791
You're doing this in CO. Wow. God-tier my dude. All respect in the world.

Youngfags, do yourselves a favor and start asking him questions. As for me I'm taking this as a sign to maximize the opportunity I have to do something similar somewheres else.

I know the Denver metro (and the mountains to the west) fairly well. You picked a helluva place to live free bro.

Best.

Here you can subtract your mortgage payments from your taxable income. Which means people can borrow more money. Which in turn increases the housing prices. The government wants to do something about it, but they don't want to bankrupt all house owners lol.

nice. that undeveloped land tax is sweet. I don't know if I could get away with it in Oregon. Crazy environmental people here. Maybe WAY out, but then... IDK. I don't like total isolation, prob need accesses to health care

Rich Americans are extremely charitable. They feel guilty about their wealth, so they engage in innumerable do-gooder campaigns, giving away what they never rightfully earned. Of course, hefty tax breaks for charitable donations are a big incentive, as are the high-society fundraiser events themselves, which offer a chance to mingle with other elites in an exclusive environment. Like everything, it's a big racket.
>pay our employees more? reduce rent for our tenants? hell to the fucking no.
>attend a $5000 ballroom dinner raising funds for well construction in African villages? but of course.

I've made myself a very useful goyslave at work. Yes, people recognize and appreciate me for my work all day every day. But every time I've tried to socially engage with people here, I've been given the cold shoulder and made to feel that my engagement was unwanted.
>>515584217
Twice I've said "Fuck this place, I can't stand it anymore" and left with no intention of returning. But after a year or so of wandering around, I returned. As arduous and deprived as life can be here, it's still miles better than any of the other work/life arrangements I've tried out all across the map.

NC has been taken over by lefty Jew assholes. This was already beginning when I lived in Boone 45 years ago, and every time I visit NC since then, it is worse. Asheville is one of the most faggotted-up cities on God's earth. Durham may be even worse. Charlotte less so, but it is a niggerfuxated hellhole. The guy who shanked that Ukrainian chick was about average for Charlotte.
