Okay so in the ring footage he has a limp most likely from carrying the gun in his pants. After the shooting he immediately runs for it while carrying the weapon. Near end of the video of him jumping off the roof he slows down most likely to stash the weapon back in his clothes. Then at the end of the ring footage we see him run out of the woods normally. He stashed the weapon in the woods and was probably able to run normally after that. He may not have messed up his legs that badly. I think any awkward running we see in the videos is just from having the weapon stashed in his clothing.
