Don't a lot of stocks connect with like 2 screws on the bottom while the barrel and trigger assembly drop in as a single piece? And taking a scope off and putting it back on doesn't throw the sighting off that much, even less so at close ranges. I can see it being put together in less than a minute and the scope may have knocked itself back during the shot if it was assembled in a hurry and not tightened enough.
