Everyday I see so much shit here, almost nobody has any civic sense, care for public property, the environment, food safety or hygiene practices. There's this stupid delusion of a multiethnic multicultural society, but truth be told everyone hates each other and there's always uneasy tensions among the different sociocultural, religious and ethnic groups, ready to explode at any time. People don't give each other basic respect and they are out to hurt you just so that they can get an edge over others. The major religions here (Hinduism and Islam) are both absolute cancer and I need not explain why. Public services are shit, there's no real free speech, and at least 70% of the population is terminally retarded.Before I say any further, I'll just make it clear that I DO NOT intend to ever move out of this place. It's horrible here, sure, but I have family and friends and connections here, and I value them more than a shortcut to an easy life. I see a lot of my acquaintances moving out to the US, UK, Canada, Germany, Japan, etc. I'm not jealous but I despise them. A lot of the education here is subsidized by the government, so these emigrants are abusing that system, but then instead of contributing to our society and economy, they choose the easy way out into one of those countries and contribute to the problems there.
