>100k payment required for petitions for higher H1B caps by companies
>150k minimum wage floor for all H1B jobs (companies can't ask for H1B for a job <150k/yr, only skilled people can apply now)

Too bad Canada will never get this, good for you guys though.

It's not quite as solid as some anons are saying.
Mostly it's designed to curb the type of H-1B visa holders who end up working at a gas station or something else that literally anyone can do (which is essentially fraud but probably can't be prosecuted).
>>
>>516629934
Niggas willing to do anything for people to forget about those files.
>>
>>516629934
Not enough. It should be 100k every year on a continuing basis, for a START. American engineers should all be making 200k minimum right now, but we're getting swindled.

all indians need to get OUT of my country RIGHT NOW. I honestly couldnt give two shits about juan and pablo picking the tomatoes for me when Pajeet is coming here cheapening the actually desirable jobs.

So he didn't do anything then. When are you goytards going to learn.
>>
>>516630295
AFAIK it would have to be because there's no blanket visa or something that could apply to multiple employees, it would be on a case by case basis.
>>
>>516629934
Trump campaigned on getting rid of h1 visas not redirecting them so the big tech companies can get them all

Also trump can't just change the law by executive order, he needs to pass a law. Republicans control everything, instead of passing laws to do something trump plays king and blames the court for throwing out his illegal orders

In the end you have moved nowhere and he wasted your time arguing about endless fake executive orders in the meantime

>>
>>516630295
Its per petition, and petitions cover one person. However, successful petitions produce visas that last 3 years. This really means 33.3k per year, once you look at it like that.
Also there's no way this doesn't get challenged in court. Congress made the visa system and they set the fees. The president likely has no powers to change fees on visas.

>>
>>516630209
To be honest that sounds wonderful to me. I have like 6 different gas stations and convenient stores around me run by stinky marble mouth pajeets.
>>
>>516629934
You're stupid, in Canada they already do something similar where they set a minimum wage of 36$/h. Then all these companies post hiring for "conveniently" 36$/h jobs. Always goes to TFW, and they always force them to pay the company back in order to be able to stay at their job. That's just what's going to happen to the USA.
>>
>>516631213
Why didn’t the Biden DOJ do a selective leak of them?
>>
>>516630209
it's incredibly solid. companies are now faced with paying a jeet salary say 80,000 plus 100,000 on top of that each year or they could simply hire the American worker who before at 120,000 a year was not attractive when a jeet cost 40k less. Now a jeet costs way more especially with the 150,000k wage push floor Trump literally just restored American workers in the tech sector.
>>
>>516630209
You mean Americans could get jobs that were taken by Indians now? That's absolutely fantastic!
>>
>>516633102
so it just makes a system where the government has to get paid either by employer or by the employee paying employer (who then pays gubmint)
>>
>>516633102

Why would that work? The DOJ leaked like crazy during the Trump 1 ‘and Biden admins and for some reason no one leaked anything about Trump in that entire time. Not one agent with an incredible grudge, not one staffer who hated the Clintons and Trump. No one. Remarkable how well they were able to keep that secret about this one guy in particular.
>>
>>516633379
I don't. It's clear now that we're never going to get anything remotely trustworthy until everyone implicated is long dead already.

Thing is if he had nothing to fear he would have released names. There would have been no need for that all that walking back if the list didn't implicate him or his friends. His actions this year already tell me everything I need to know.

Does it even matter? The major bank I work for was already planning that for the last few years. You might as well fuck them over with these new fees until that happens if they hate White workers so much.
>>
>>516633686
H1-bs already work in other countries they still have to pay. Actually under the EO travel outside and back to the US requires the fee and processing any applications, extensions, renewals outside of USCIS requires the fee.
under the EO the only way h1-bs can avoid it is by only filing within the US and never leaving for business, vacation, family, etc. do any of that and your employer has to pay the fee.

i think it is on a continuing base.

It's probably also too extreme. The companies will literally be cheaper off moving even their highly qualified people to anywhere but the USA. Having one more worker in the USA isn't worth 0.5M. But the team may be put near the qualified worker.
>>
>>516634155
I think it was in the interest of everyone in washington to bury the entire story. Releasing the epstein list was only something that outsiders asked for. Then those outsiders attached themselves to Trump's campaign and proved very embarrassing for him, but there's no getting around that if there was really nothing incriminating in there, then there would be no problem releasing it.

Anyway what is not in dispute is that Epstein was a sex trafficker. It is absolutely unacceptable that to this day we still have not a single name of someone he sex trafficked to. Nobody is in jail but Ghislaine, and for what? Apparently the crime she was convicted of didn't actually happen. Again, it's fucking doublethink. We KNOW people are incriminated in that evidence.

The US started losing ground on the world stage in the 90s, from every perspective. I’m not going to blame it entirely on h1b. I think we also hit a certain threshold of population replacement (from the great hart celler), but when you flood a country with people that didn’t create it, it results in increased home prices due to increase in buyers, decreases wages due to an increased candidate pool, decreases societal cohesiveness due to lack of shared background, and then you throw in h1b to replace all native high-paying jobs..you lose ground and that’s what happened.

I wonder how it was in 2024. but I'm just going to guess the trend was the same?

>>516635772
Economically as a country you were probably most powerful just in 2023/24. But I accept labor pressure was getting too high.

In the statistics I just linked, I just suspect the 26 Czechs and the ~420 Japanese and so on are not creating serious pressure on wages. They probably are doing a good job and the company gets more real productivity which means they get means to hire more people which they generally would do.

On the world stage, well, the USA was stronger at times but it partly was because everyone else got wrecked in WW2 and then the Soviet Union collapsed and Japan economically messed up and so on. I'm not sure it wasn't the most powerful in 2024 in an absolute sense, the world is just less weak too.
