it's going to be impossible to tell where it came from without understanding what goes on with a high velocity rifle that also retains its velocity well, and even then, you're generally not going to by acoustics alone from a camera, and angle of impact of the round and where people look is how you can get an idea.there's going to be a supersonic crack as the projectile passes the camera if it's far enough away from the shooter to be discernible from the muzzle blast itself, and the projectile is obviously still going supersonic. you can't determine where the shot comes from this alone, as it could be multiple directions. there's something worth noting that it'll make another sonic boom when it hits something or slows down naturally to subsonic velocity, so there's another complication. there's usually not much echo off these.tldr, just look where the round hits and where people also look off in the distance to figure it a decent idea. if there's inconsistencies between these two, there might be more shooters.you're then going to hear a thud or boom in the distance from the muzzle blast, which you very much can determine the location as it's at a single point in space. this does give an echo, as it's a pressure wave. if you're in a location with a lot of buildings or trees, you'll hear a pop after the blast as the sound continues on, in addition to a reverberating whoosh no matter where you are.

What we can see in the videos are several of Charlie's security team making hand gestures, a gun shot is then heard a moment later, his shirt collar and the cross necklace he is wearing underneath bounce up suggesting the cross caused the collar to bounce up.
