Russia started this war with an aim to "denazify" Ukraine so let's try and get our copes squared

Define military intervention, because America is providing support for both countries, albeit indirectly. Do you mean direct involvement of US troops? I'm pretty sure most Americans would agree that's bad in either scenario.

I'm sorry, I thought we were talking about Israel/Gaza, not Israel/Iran. The latter conflict definitely had direct US involvement, though not on the same level as deploying thousands of US troops. It was a calculated risk that paid off with an (almost) immediate cessation of hostilities. If the bombing mission had failed and Iran had kept fighting, then America would lose face and would have to commit more assets to "finish the job" but I doubt it'd ever escalate to the point of thousands of US troops being mobilized for a ground war. Deploying the army seems to trigger the American populace because their trauma of the Aghanistan and Iraq conflicts, but deploying a few Billion dollar planes to unload hundred million dollar ordinance doesn't carry that kind of stigma because only a handful of people are at risk of dying in those operations.

One of them is your master, the other your vassal.
