Maybe it's just because I had an upbringing of general Christian principles, was sent to Catholic school because my parents knew public schools were shit, found out I got sent to one of the most "progressive" Catholic schools so my dad was constantly working to undo their liberal basic bitch takes that they pummeled us with, and by the time I was a teenager and school shootings became more commonplace, I just gave up on the idea of Christianity. But then I got out into the world, saw all the alternatives, and they were nearly all fucking worse in every way. Not unlike politics, every "team" sucks.
