I have no family besides my parents, who are getting older day by day.How do I enter a group of friends ? I've never been part of a male friends group. I have 3 'good friends' who don't know each other and are all working in 3 different cities across the country. How do I develop a friend group at my age? Dunno man. I've been tight with my core friend group since 14. A couple of them from 10 years old. The more successful of us make new friends from buinesses contacts and industry connections with people of shared interest in the trade, the most social and outgoing have lots of hobbies and are pretty tight with things like mma gyms and hiking groups and other physical stuff like that having made friends there, some have just kinda retreated into their wifes/girlfriends and families and don't seem to have much interest in making new friends, some are single and have thrown themselves into work and don't socialize much at all anymore having gone full internet degen, some have gotten engaged with their neighborhoods more closely, and as for me I just kinda meet random people in town and leverage existing connections for greater familiarity since I know a lot of people and am very intimately familiar with my city and everyone knows someone. Some I've been acquainted with well enough to know names for years but only ever in passing, some I'll have a drink with and chill when i cross paths with, and only a few ever actually become real friends i communicate with. I can't handle too much communication anyway. Too many friends is a chore and I've no interest in house parties and hanging out with zoomers and even less so since my girl is a total homebody. Getting integrated into a group i can't tell you but meeting people seems to me just that you need to meet people. Like with ladies most won't go anywhere but it starts with conversation and being in shared spaces.
