He’s not punching right on ideology or anything like that, he thinks that direct action is bad tactics. And that holds up when you look at the history of how those things turn out. You dress up and do marches and it ends up like Charlottesville where everyone gets their lives destroyed by the legal system. You wear masks like patriot front and you get infiltrated and subverted by the feds. I’d you just try to do a normal rightwing protest they call it an insurrection and hound you legally for years like jan 6. The reality is that the entire apparatus of power is set up to crush rightwing organizing. All getting involved in these groups does is make you a target and take you out of the game.
