The indictment is the thinnest legal document I've ever seen. It says that Comey said one thing to Congress (that he didn't approve anyone commenting as an 'anonymous source' on some topic) and that an unidentified other person claims he did approve it. It's only a single page. This is the absolute bare minimum to get into court, saying a factual dispute exists. They did this because the statue of limitations was set to expire (today i think) and they had to get something in before the deadline. They'll probably file a speeding indictment where they try to add on more stuff but it looks to me like they have zero paperwork to back this up or establish any kind of behavioral pattern. They're rushing into court with their entire case depending on whether the jury finds someone more credible than Comey on the witness stand. I'm not a criminal lawyer but most prosecutors wouldn't move forward with so little to go on, and other prosecutors have declined to do so in this case. Bear in mind the lawyer charging this has virtually zero court experience and has never worked as a prosecutor or in federal court. Her background is in insurance law* and her last job was bullying the Smithsonian museum to have fewer 'woke' exhibits. * this doesn't mean she's an idiot, insurance law is complicated and actually interesting if you're a lawyer and enjoy unraveling puzzles, but most of the high paying jobs are about making excuses for not paying out claims.
