Here in Spain the law only permits 1 pistol when you first start with olympic shooting, and everyone says that the best choice is getting a .22 because the ammo is cheaper and they are the easiest ones to progress with, but every time I have shot them I found them underhwlming. That or a CZ75 which is also a beautiful weapon, but one that I have never held in my hands, so I am not sure how it would feel for me.For hunting, I will get a rifle. I have no idea which one but I plan on hunting deer so a shotgun just doesn't interest me that much, but that will be in 2-3 years so I will research them more once I have settled the pistol thing.
