H1B gets the attention, but the REAL advantage starts with the F1 -> OPT -> STEM OPT pipeline that gives foreign workers 3 YEARS of full-time work at FAANG salaries with a massive tax break.

THE REAL NUMBERS (2025):
• FAANG new grad: $200k salary (Google L3, Amazon L4, Meta E3)
• American grad: Pays $13,818 FICA tax ($186,182 take-home)
• F1/OPT grad: Pays $0 FICA tax for 3 years ($200,000 take-home)
• That's $13,818 EXTRA CASH per year for foreign workers
• $41,454 total advantage over 3-year STEM OPT period
• Indians bought 4,700 homes worth $2.2 billion in US in 2024-25

THE 3-YEAR WORK PROGRAM:
OPT (1 year) + STEM OPT (2 year extension) = 3 years of full-time work authorization
This isn't about student visas - this is about a dedicated work program for tech jobs
During all 3 years of work, they keep the 7.65% FICA tax that gets taken from your paycheck

THE HOUSING REALITY:
>You: Paying $13,818/year into Social Security/Medicare
>Them: Banking that $13,818/year extra to outbid you on starter homes
>You: Struggling to save for down payment
>Them: Using $41,454 tax advantage to buy the home you should own

THEY GET A $41,454 HEAD START IN THE HOUSING MARKET - then use YOUR tax dollars to price YOU out of neighborhoods.

This is why housing feels impossible.
This is why you're getting outbid.
This is the hidden advantage they don't want you to know about.

Most Americans have ZERO clue this BROKEN system exists and the jeets have been colluding this entire time to keep it hush-hush amongst themselves.

FICA stands for the Federal Insurance Contributions Act. This U.S. federal law mandates that employers withhold taxes from employee paychecks to fund Social Security and Medicare programs.

SOURCES (BECAUSE THEY'LL CALL YOU A CONSPIRACY THEORIST):

• IRS Tax Rule: F-1 students exempt from FICA taxes for 5 years
https://www.irs.gov/individuals/international-taxpayers/foreign-student-liability-for-social-security-and-medicare-taxes

• USCIS OPT Rules: 12 months standard + 24 month STEM extension = 3 years work authorization
https://www.uscis.gov/working-in-the-united-states/students-and-exchange-visitors/optional-practical-training-for-f-1-students

• Social Security Administration: Confirms 7.65% FICA tax rate for employees
https://www.ssa.gov/oact/progdata/taxRates.html

• National Association of Realtors: Foreign buyers purchased $53.3 billion in US property (2023)
https://www.nar.realtor/research-and-statistics/research-reports/2023-profile-of-international-buyers-in-u-s-residential-real-estate

• Bloomberg: Indians are top foreign homebuyers in US, driven by tech workers
https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2024-08-01/indians-are-biggest-foreign-buyers-of-us-homes-as-workers-flock

THE REALITY CHECK:
When Americans complain about H1B, they're missing the farm team. Most H1B winners first came through the F1/OPT pipeline. This creates two classes of workers from day one:

>American graduates: Pay 7.65% FICA tax automatically, struggle to save for down payments
>F1/OPT graduates: Keep that 7.65% as extra cash, build wealth while waiting for H1B lottery

H1B is just the final step. The real advantage starts years earlier with the STEM OPT tax break that gives foreign workers a financial head start in our own housing market.

How do you think they were able to keep it hush-hush all this time? They have been exploiting this loophole for years, even decades. Do you think it's coincidence that they all manage to find a house, buy up entire subdivisions, while Americans are living in their cars or RVs?

It's disinformation because your intent is to come up with frivolous arguments to try and discredit the core argument at hand. Which hey, while we're on the topic, do you disagree that there is a tax loophole and do you think it is fair for Americans? What are your thoughts on STEM OPT new grads not having to pay FICA?

The core argument is that they're concentrated in competitive tech hubs where they use their tax advantage to outbid locals for limited housing supply and building up wealth during critical formative years. Whereas new grads have to pay full payroll tax, new grads on STEM OPT are able to save up which compounds later in life.

It's about unfair competition in specific markets where every dollar matters.

You are wrong that means 53% of all Indians in the US own a home. Also, that is 53% of all Indian people not households. So yeah that's a lot higher than average especially when you remember that Indians in the US are younger than the natives.

Whenever I bring up this STEM OPT FICA tax loophole on YouTube, I ALWAYS get some Prakesh or Ranjeet replying to me to try and discredit my positions.

It gets tiring dealing with their endless gaslighting.
>>
>>517679473
according to NAR its even less
pajeet households = 4.5 million people ÷ 3.4 people per household = approximately 1.32 million households.

Estimated # of homes owned = 1.32 million households × 58-60% homeownership rate = 765,000 to 792,000 homes owned by Indian American households.

pajeets own fewer homes per capita- about 31% less homes than the national average

Surely, coming from a white, traditional, hard-working family, you must have some social ties and savings to rely on. Besides, you have the highest IQ, good looks, athleticism, and a better understanding of the customs and language. So why aren’t you winning, Timmy, even with all those advantages?
