How are Americans supposed to square the fact that National Socialism is obliviously the path forward with the fact that we fought to kill it in Europe? Imaging for a second National Socialism won among the American political elite. We still have to find a way to frame these last 3 centuries as something other than a huge mistake. The stoic Roman patricians of the upper class wouldn’t have been able to just adopt the ideology of the Cathaginians. It just doesn’t work like that.
