We're constantly living in maintenance mode because all of our shit is constantly breaking. We can't just deal with problems like normal anymore because we're constantly flooded by entropy. Our grandparents didn't have to suffer to this level of entropy. Sure they still had stuff break all the time and had to deal with things. That's just life. But everything is just disposable now. I bought a pair of AirPods 6 months ago and they are already dead just as an example. I went to the store and I bought a pair of AirPods and I'm not allowed to think man it's so great that I finally got that AirPod problem solved and I don't ever have to think about it again. No I buy something it breaks immediately and then I have to buy another one and not only do I have to buy that but I have to rebuyall the other bullshit that is constantly breaking. FUCK.

When I came to this country over 30 years ago I walked into one of these American giant big box grocery stores for the first time and I nearly shit my pants. I had never seen anything like this before back home. This kind of shit only existed in pure fantasy over there back then. My parents filled up an entire giant heaping shopping cart beyond the top. The thing look like it was about to fall over from metal fatigue. And the thing only cost us $158. I'll never forget that moment in my life. It's one of my favorite childhood moments when I realized that finally we're out of that hell hole and we're somewhere where we can actually eat. It was a dream come true. That same shopping cart nowadays costs at least $900 over here. It's utter insanity. We're at a breaking point. Pretty soon that shopping cart will be $1,000. I bet I could feel a shopping cart up to the top with $1,000 right now if I wanted to really cherry pick the nice items but pretty soon it's not going to be nice items. It's going to be milk eggs and bread.
