Is it over for russia?
>>
My sources have mentioned two weeks. Tops. May even be one week. Cap this and put it with the other caps.
>>
I hope they chug a glass of their own koolaid and open up an european front.
Barbarossa 2.0 is going to be kino.
>>
Russia has been meatgrinding the same settlements for a year now and can't make anything happen. Meanwhile their oil refineries and power plants are blowing up on the regular and they seem incapable of stopping it. The situation is grim but the worst part is that Putin can't stop the war as it's the only thing holding Russia together anymore. He's terrified of a half million angry bitter vets returning home from the special operation.
>>
>>517687898
Yes, at this rate they'll be out of power plants in 2 weeks

Just like they ran out of men, planes, tanks, and bullets.

Ukraine has already been defeated. The country will be filled to the brim with migrant turks and indians that pay half their annual wages for a work visa while international development firms and investment corporations rake in billions in profits annually. The country will never again be anything but a puppet dancing on strings held by international bankers, with one leg amputated by Russia.

I mean that certainly contributed but Japan was reaching cope levels by 1945. they were trying to make jet fuel from pine roots and getting like a cup of rice a day. They were building wooden manned kamikazee rockets lmfao. Meanwhile the US had whole goddam barges doing no job but to churn out millions of gallons of ice cream.

Their navy was systematically destroyed. Their systems had become inferior, and their resources and capacity for production were depleted. It was over and it's actually sort of sick they didnt realize it sooner.

The only reason Japan attacked America is because we cut off greater than 90% of their oil supply with an embargo. The whole "boohoo pearl harbor they attacked us for no reason :((((" narrative is disgusting.

This! The zogbot is lying! Glorious multicultural Russia is strong and would destroy degenerate zog usa simply by raising the eyebrow
>>
>>517691112
First of all, when you embark on a massive conquest of the pacific that thrives on oil, you would have to be the biggest dindu retards on earth to feel ENTITLED to be sold oil from another Pacific power kek. It's so insane.

Second: Yamamoto pled with them not to attack the USA. He literally wrote like a thousand page report breaking down in extreme detail why Japan would get btfo. He literally spent like ten years studying why Japan would get btfo. Apparently Yamamoto was the only motherfucker over there with his head screwed on straight.
>>
It makes sense for both of them to make a deal together. The play isnt Ukraine getting security guarantees and giving up minerals. The play is no restrictions on military growth and development, and letting Russia have Crimea and Donbass. Rebuilding, stop being corrupt, developing military so if Russia fucks around in future, they're in a better position than they were when it kicked off this time. Why are they so eager for US / EU to defend them. They're not european, and not part of Nato. The US and EU should focus solely on themselves, not third world shit holes like Ukraine
>>
>>517691483
>when you embark on a massive conquest of the pacific that thrives on oil, you would have to be the biggest dindu retards on earth to feel ENTITLED to be sold oil from another Pacific power kek
It's not entitlement if you're paying for it. It's business, and the Pacific was none of our god damned business. It bit us in the ass in the long run, supporting Russia and China. How's that working out for us?
>>
>>517691728
Look bozo the clown- if you cant make your own oil and someone gets pissed with you taking over half the pacific it is THEIR fucking business if they don't want to sell you oil no more. It's definitely not a reason to start a war where some upstart country is guaranteed to btfo you and your 2500 year old warrior culture.

The level of insane dindu'ing is heretofore unknown.
>>
>>517692098
>The level of insane dindu'ing is heretofore unknown.
Right back at you faggot. Pearl Harbor was something we brought on ourselves. Whether you like it or not, that's the truth.
>>
>>517691728
I'm not here to decide if it was good or not in the long run, I mean fuck I'm still mostly hung-up on the 1860s kek.

All I'm trying to say is that you arent entitled to be sold oil. Goddam is this complicated? A rock on the ground could see such a war would end badly for them. It's a shame they did something so stupid because frankly I sort of liked the idea of them running roughshod over China.
>>
>>517692233
>sell us what we want or we will attack your fleet and serve your warhawks a reason to get into the war on a silver platter.
I actually resent them for this retardation.

Then you're a hypocrite, because Perry did that exact shit to them in 1853.

>>
>>517692519
See this is your problem- you're so hung up on the "poetic justice" of it that you cant see the brass-tacks. Before you do anything you should ask "are we going to get btfo?" "Is this fucking stupid?" "Are we being retarded?" Almost everyone has some gripe with others of varying degrees of legitimacy.
>>
>>517692945
They learned from it, they modernized rapidly and unbelievably really. They btfo russia and were btfo'ing china... and they threw it all away because the US decided not to sell them oil anymore kek.
>>
>>517693167
Whereas your problem is that you don't understand that cutting off their oil fucked them either way. They either lost with no chance of success, or they took a gamble. If the rest of the world suddenly cut off all trade with the United States dooming us to economic collapse do you think we'd just bend over and take it? No.
>>
>>517693918
If you are stuck on one nation's titty for a resource you need... maybe the logical thing to do would be to not fuck with them kek?? I mean they sure didnt seem to worried about merely surviving when they were taking over half the pacific fueled by american oil?
>>
>>517694821
>maybe the logical thing to do would be to not fuck with them kek??
Remind me how invading French Indochina fucked with the US.
>>
>>517694934
When I said "don't fuck with them" I was sort of thinking "don't attack their fleet" kek.

But to answer your question the French were allies of the US and the US were major players in the Pacific at the time. What are you stupid? I mean did it not cross their minds- "maybe we shouldnt steam roll the allies of the people who sell us oil (which we need).
>>
>>517695812
>When I said "don't fuck with them" I was sort of thinking "don't attack their fleet" kek.
And yet the attack was prompted by the embargo.
>But to answer your question the French were allies of the US
Funny, because if I recall correctly France was occupied by the Germans just months before.
>>
>>517696722
Exactly you idiot, you think that a country deciding to not sell someone a commodity is a just cause for war? meanwhile look at the US:
>ally France steamrolled, no war
>ally Bongs bombed to rubble, no war
>Poland carved up, no war

It took sinking most of their pacific surface fleet to get in the war. All they did was not sell Japan oil kek. That's not war bozo. The level of entitled delusional dindu'ing is literally deranged.
>>
>>517697079
>Exactly you idiot, you think that a country deciding to not sell someone a commodity is a just cause for war?
Again, the US rolled up on Japan in the 1850s and threatened to go to war with them for keeping their ports closed to trade. By our own standards it is absolutely a just cause.

What's the point of these stories? Putin's probably not reading them. The purpose is to give the impression that Ukraine should keep fighting and that we should pay for it. This is pure domestically targeted propaganda and it used to be illegal.
>>
>>517697267
the US was not beholden to Japan in the 1850s- they were dealing with them from a position of power. That was totally sensible. Seriously if you are so beholden to another country maybe you need to learn your place until you are no longer beholden to them? I mean that is sort of the entire point.

I mean being completely beholden to a country that would 100% btfo and then starting g a war with them is almost objectively retarded.
>>
>>517697267
Everyone has some "just cause" for a war. The Romans could come up with something in a few hours if they needed to kek.

The point is that the decision was retarded and stupid. You see the difference?

I mean honestly how can you even rationalize this retarded way of thinking.
>>
>>517691112
Japan's fault for going to war in China without first storing away enough oil to withstand embargoes.
(You should have at least 5 years, preferably 10, worth of essential materials stockpiled before carrying out such a project.)
The US embargo forced them to either abandon the Chinese war (unthinkable) or escalate by attacking the USA and the other western powers.

Nigel your country declared war on Germany and got curbstomped shut the fuck up.
>>
>>517705115
The US could (for the most part) produce and refine it's own oil you clown.

But let's play along IF we were on a massive imperial campaign fueled by Country A's oil, and we would collapse if we didnt have Country A's oil, and we predictably pissed off Country A, and they stopped selling us oil and then we declared a war on them that we had zero chance of winning... I would call us retarded too.
>>
>>517705516
>The US could (for the most part) produce and refine it's own oil you clown.
Cool now build dozens of additional refineries and extraction wells with depleted strategic reserves and all interstate freight gridlocked by a fuel shortage.
>>
>>517705115
Look bozo, they waged a total war against the US for four years without our oil and you expect me to believe the sky would fall in Japan if they weren't on a massive oil fueled imperial conquest amd didnt declare war on the US?? Kek
>>
>>517705679
The US is literally the world's largest oil producer and arguably the largest refiner kek.

But seriously, let's assume we were totally dependant on another country and would melodramatically "collapse" if we weren't graciously sold their products- we would be objectively retarded to pick a fight with that country. We would be even MORE retarded to try and argue that it was a mortal blow to be cut off while we were in the midst of an interstate serial campaign fueled by millions of barrels of oil.
>>
>>517706049
Imperial*
>>
>>517702997

>>
>>517706049
>if we weren't graciously sold their products- we would be objectively retarded to pick a fight with that country
We'd shoot them in the face and take their shit. Don't kid yourself.
>>
>>517706787
Unfortunately that may be true. But Japan should have gone to the US, hat in hand, and apologized for cucking the shitty French colony and agreed to some terms so they could continue sucking on the American oil titty, so that they could continue their (frankly) unbelievable development and advancement and one day they maybe wouldnt be so beholden to the US and could actually have the position to do as they pleased.

To force your will on someone it helps to have the capacity to actually do it kek.
>>
>>517706979
>To force your will on someone it helps to have the capacity to actually do it kek.
If the US fleet actually got caught with its pants down at Pearl Harbor they pretty much would have. Losing our carriers would have fucked us good.
>>
>>517707256
When Yamamoto was asked/told to lead, he told them explicitly "I will run wild for a year and then get btfo."

The man literally spend half his adult life studying why they had no chance and did everything in his power to inform the Japanese government why they had no chance. And their response? Pie sky warrior delusions.

The Japanese could have destroyed the three carriers. How many carriers did the US have in 1945?
>>
>>517690055
Of all the weird shit Putin does, that I can understand. I imagine therr is some kind of task force in the Pentagon doing daily briefs on Putin and they would love to know how his shit and piss looks like.
>>
>>517688092
They are out of tanks. The only good news for them is that tanks are obsolete.
>>
Kellogg is such a fucking joke.
>>
>>517707464
>How many carriers did the US have in 1945?
A lot more than we had in 1941, most built on the other side of the world.
>>
>>517708584
We could have lost three fleet carriers in 1941 at Pearl. We had thirty more in 45. The ones Japan lost at Midway? Never replaced. The pilots at Phillipine Sea? Never replaced. Yamamoto knew how it would play out and called it almost prophetically even down to the time frame.

Yamamoto actually has an interesting story. It's almost "Christ in the Garden-esque." He was the one man in the room who KNEW they had no chance and was the one who was basically put in charge of the whole thing. Sort of sad in a way. It says alot also that their greatest commander was the one who read the tea leaves before everyone else. Before it even started. I actually think he was a great commander of his time. Mostly because it takes a great commander to know when NOT to initiate a war.
>>
>>517708930
Thirty more that would have had to be strategically split between the Atlantic and Pacific theaters, since Germany declared war on the United States when the Pacific War broke out. Many carriers were tasked with anti-submarine warfare, and losing three carriers in the early war could have easily compromised US naval capabilities between 41 and 43.
>>
>>517688092
>Just like they ran out of men, planes, tanks, and bullets.
They're out of all those things except men.
Ukraine is dropping JDAM and HAMMER on the front line: ancient SU-27s operating unopposed, deleting Russian barracks.
No Russian air defense in sight. No Russian fighter aircraft anywhere to be found.
Russia is using old stock T-64 tanks routinely now: vacuum tube radios and optical sights like it's WW2.
Russia is assigning BUK missile crews to infantry because they have no missiles to fire.

You have no idea how bad it really is.
>>
>>517709971
>it's bad
>just you wait
>2 weeks even
lol
>>
>>517709687
Let's say it was only 15 fleet and 30 support carriers? Over 50 carriers were built on the west coast btw. So the US loses three carriers in 1941 and you think it would have changed anything long term? How many did Japan make during the entire war? One purpose built fleet carrier and a few conversions? Even the Japanese command stated it would have been impossible to actually take Pearl much less San Diego. They still had superior planes by 43ish. Superior radar. Superior intelligence. Superior everything and only accelerating the advantage every day that passed.

The irony is that I am on the side of Japan's greatest commander in this conversation. I'm basically just lifting Yamamoto's talking points here. He studied this shit more than any of us btw- and he knew what would happen and it DID happen.
>>
>>517689663
>Japan and Germany were defeated by burning the civilians
Germany was defeated when it failed to seize the Soviet oil in the Caucuses. From there it was only ever a matter of time.
>>
>>517710612
They had, what, seven in '41? Split the remainder in half and escorting vessels across the Atlantic gets that much harder. Materials get harder to move, merchant and arms vessels get killed by u-boats, and so on.

Remember: Japan wasn't alone, and Yamamoto would have known that the agreement with Germany was a defensive pact. Hitler wasn't actually obligated to join the war with the United States, but he did it anyway.
>>
>>517686883
of course they can't. america is will to spend unlimited money protecting it. the american government cares more about its wars in distant countries than in its own people.
>>
>>517711003
Germany failed when it managed to take back it's country, regain most of it's lost lands and regain it's spirit as a people and could not simply put it's head down and develop into the super power it had the potential to be. Clearly a people of great genuis and capability.

The bong empire didn't go from a relative light weight to the greatest the earth has ever seen in one big glorious war. They of course had super powers trying to stop their rise along the way they all do. It was a long series of advantageous decisions and victories and luck. A people of great capacity who carved out their place in the world over a few centuries and when the dominos were ready to fall they fell.
>>
>>517711220
Yamamoto wrote a thousand page report after like a decade of traveling the US on why a war with the US could only end in one outcome. He knew the manufacturing capacity. The resource capacity. He knew there was only one outcome.

Even if Japan takes out let's say two of the fleet carriers at Pearl, it only prolongs the inevitable. The US still mobilizes the greatest ship building machine humanity has ever seen. They still have immense advantages in resources, pilots, intel, radar, their advancement in planes still occurs. Perhaps Japan runs wild for a bit longer but the carriers still get whittled down and neber replaced.

I cannot reiterate the importance of the fact that Japan virtually replaced none of their carriers throughout the war. That alone was the end of the story. Instead of a Midway- let's say you have three more Coral Seas? The end result is the same. A carrier here a carrier there and they never get replaced.
>>
>>517711444
I'd say it failed when they ran out of money for their socialist programs. Sadly, command economies don't work in ethnostates either.
>>
>>517711794
It does seem to be the case that these types of modern systems do not succeed based on our historical experiences. But given the potential of that group of people I am not prepared to say it would be impossible or that they would not adjust accordingly to the realities of the world.
>>
>>517709971
