>one gave the Russians freedom of speech, the ability to become anyone they like and the respect of the global community

>the other forced Russians into an unwinnable war and killed or crippled hundreds of thousands of them and isolated Russia from the world community

Guess who Russians like more. Total slave people.

One of them sold out to the West, the other one restored Russia's sovereignty!
>>
>>517689766
Russia would have been sovereign regardless, because of nukes. You are just adopting kremlin talking points like a good goy.

>one gave the Russians freedom of speech
Happenstance, wasn't actually his intention. Just like the rest of the liberisation of Russian politics economy in the 90s
>the ability to become anyone they like
Bait
>the respect of the global community
Who respected Russia in the 90s? The situation was similar to whete Russia is today, only the country was severely more impoverished.
>the other forced Russians into an unwinnable war and killed or crippled hundreds of thousands of them
Yeltsin did this too with the Chechen wars.

This is basically saying "Hitler was le good for German people, why do Germans hate him??" while listing only Hitler's pre-war accomplishments and ignoring the destruction of WW2 for Germany.

>Yeltsin did this too with the Chechen wars.
Both chechen wars = 6 months of Ukraine
>>
>>517688989
>isolated Russia from the world community
What the heck does it even mean?
>>
>>517690642
It's still the same shit nonetheless. Yeltsin is exactly the same as Putin, the only difference he just didn't give a shit about past grievances.
>>
>>517690794
He meant sanctions, probably.
>>
>>517690881
>sanctions
EU buys more NG and oil from Russia than they did before 2022 kek.
>>
>>517690862
It's not the same shit retard. In the 90s Russias economy wasn't constantly attacked by rockets and drones. The already lost 20% of their fucking refineries.
>>
>>517690794
He means Russia was pushed towards China and Best Korea even harder.
No, China and Best Korea aren't part of the world, only weimerica and its slaves.

Putin took what was a fledgling democracy and what could have been a strong ally of the West and turned it back into a another shithole because he’s convinced the collapse of the Soviet Union was a “humiliation” and not a failure of government. They could have joined NATO at any point, but didn’t, because Russia doesn’t want to be allies with anyone. They want to dominate. Yet, the Kremlin repeatedly states that they were never “invited” to join, when they simply just never attempted to.
Instead of brutal wars in Chechnya, they could have implemented autonomy policies like they already do. Western companies would have invested heavily in Russian tech, agriculture and infrastructure. With Russia as a NATO member, there would have been no need for NATO to expand eastward. It would have been the new Silk Road between West and East. The Russian middle class would have boomed instead of dwindling further imto nothing.
Russia COULD have been one of the top 5 economies in the world. Instead of isolation and sanctions, Russia COULD have had huge influence over NATO and EU affairs, on par with France and Germany. Putins legacy COULD have been one of a great unifier. They chose pride instead.

My family went hungry in the 90s, and salaries were not paid for 6 months. Inflation was 8000% per year. It's the same for most families.

Eurocucks didn't even close a single embassy in Russia. All they do is make le edgy statements about how Russia bad.

>respect of the global community
Russia was never respected, only lied to by the west, hence the SVO and soon WW3.
