That image is very interesting. Private Pyle is a visual metaphor for the nigger menace. Joker is the youthful whites. The sergeant represents the old white order trying to find some way of making Pyle fit into the scheme of white civilization. What first clued me in to this metaphor in this image was the way that Pyle has a big fat head which is dark and the way he's retarded and feral, as niggers are.
