Rusia abandoned Iran and Siria to concentrate efforts in Ukraine, Israel profited to dethrone Assad and recently anexed parts of Siria. Its all about weakening Russia. And the longer the war, the better for Israel. They dont want it to end.

To clarify.
For everyone but israel (and a little bit to them too) its about natural resources. If the war ends now - both USA and Russia have access.
Ukraine would, but it has to pay back all the shit they've got so far - and more importantly, all the rebuilding money from USA will be exchanged directly to resource access.
