Half of the progressive Hollywood studios they hate are entirely propped up by cable revenue, meanwhile the only people paying for cable nowadays are buying it just to watch Fox News, Newsmax, and Sports. You dig into the financials and you'll find that the movies are breakeven, the streaming services operate at a loss, and these studios have nothing to subsist on besides their share of your $50-200 cable bill. Every one of those flops is financed by viewers like you.
