>the US in theory can literally do nothing if branches hate one another
>legislative gridlock via divided congress
>The only country in the world where the fed government can shutdown without a spending bill
>rouge judges can stop all acts of congress and presidential powers if it's "unconstitutional"
>constant fighting with state governments
>President is arguably the weakest political office in human history with limited powers
>Tyranny of the minority

the europeans were right, parliamentary sovereignty is the way.
SEPARATION OF POWERS IS FUCKING RETARDED
>>
>>517712944
It made sense when the founding fathers created it because everyone was on the team of America succeeding. Now there are factions of "America should fail bc evil and racist" and "israel should succeed" so no shit it doesnt work.
>>
>>517712944
Well yeah as all the power is held by the Jews.
>>
>>517712944
>the government can do nothing
THAT'S THE FUCKING POINT, STUNAD.
>>
>>517712944
Your system is older and did better than democracy. It also caused less wars and dealt with fewer rebellions than europeans. We vote ourselves into civil wars and offensive wars see Hitler and world war 1 and 2, due to no separation of powers.
>>
>>517713328
>so no shit it doesnt work.
That's the point. It's supposed to delay and stall bullshit on purpose. It creates more stability than something like europe
>>
>>517713328
the main thing that made it work in colonial america was that colonial america was huge and the fastest communication devices were a guy on a ship or a guy on a horse

this distributed systems work okay when you don't need to run a nuclear program or monitor chemical labs for illegal weapons testing
>>
>>517713564
easy to say that when the US is alone on an empty continent
>>
>>517712944
what was that about legislative girldick?
>>
>>517713328
The founding fathers knew that factions would arise because it’s human nature. They accounted for this by requiring Freedom Of Speech to be enshrined and protected for the individual. The reason being is that if there is freedom of speech, it means people will have the information to make a correct decision via voting etc.

The internet was the linchpin and has fully allowed for the people to make correct decisions. The enemy thought it could co-opt America’s freedom but they failed and will always fail.
>>
>>517712944
fuck off jeet, no one cares if youre a power hungry shitskin
>>
>>517712944
YOURE FUCKING RETARDED. HOLY FUCK!!! Oh nooooo government is shut down how will I ever know what to do with my life- STFU. Americans always HATED their government no matter if it was on their side or not. The founding fates hated government because of the evil they saw in men but it was a necessary evil to have government. The American gov is working correctly and has been for the last 250 years THE LONGEST STANDING FORM OF GOVERNMENT EVER SEEN ON EARTH and you’re saying that Muh archaic monarchy is better???!!!

How about you read a little history on despotism and tyranny? How about you look at how the monarchs of Europe have DEVASTATED the continent all for the sake of retaining control over wealth and the flow of resources? How about you look at the disparity that the Vatican has over South America and other regions on earth? Why don’t you read up on Islam and their system of government hidden behind religious rhetoric?

America is the only country that actually FUNCTIONS as it should. Separations of powers and checks and balances.

What YOUR faggy ass is seeing is the INFILTRATION of the American system by her enemies (Britain) for over a century, and even before that she tried to fuck up America via the civil war and the war of 1812.

You literally do not know what you are spouting off here. Literally ZERO. God, forgive this man and allow your grace to fall upon him because evil like OP needs to be repented STAT.
>>
>>517712944
Separation of powers was always a meme. I'm glad people are finally waking up and dispensing with the blatant propaganda. Congress is both simultaneously the most powerful on paper and also the weakest in practice and we're seeing it happen live.

That’s the POINT, fuckwit! You DONT want the government to move fast because of all the tyranny that comes with it. Have you NOT been paying attention in Europe whose governments are obviously so much more superior to the US? Digital ID, mass immigration, internet ID, CBDCs, etc?? A fast government is a reactionary government and the founding fathers saw what fucking TYRANNY it brought. Back in 1776, Britain decided that America’s currency had no value so OVERNIGHT Hardworking Americans found themselves as slaves/serfs unable to pay debts or wages because everything had to be paid in Gold (of which America had very little access because Britain wouldn’t allow the minting of it overseas). So now your money is no good, you can’t pay your workers, you lose your house/fields, what do you do???

Holy FUCK.

When America is under attack her form of gov is STUPID FAST (as we are seeing now). The Constitution allows for the Executive to take extra governmental action in these cases of rebellion or invasion or derelict of duty. Congress passes bills into laws (are you fr saying you want that process to go Faster? Are you actually brain damaged?) And the Judiciary looks at the actions of both the legislative and executive to see if it aligns with the constitution and already established laws. THE SYSTEM WORKS SO FUCKING GOOD that in order to counter it, you have to infiltrate ALL of them. It took Britain and her vassals 150 YEARS to infiltrate the US totally and only the past 50 was she totally controlled.

But Jesus fuck, I had no idea /pol/ was so fucking retarded holy fuck
>>
>>517712944
Dunno if you know this but the judicial branch is barely in the constitution. I’m glad Trump is putting these speech lawyers in their place. Next is throwing them and him out and replacing them with direct democracy (citizen deputy sheriffs)
>>
>>517715114
absolutely.
op is proof our education system is fucked.
>>517712944
our government is designed to be dysfunctional. your frustration w the govt is a feature not a bug.
this is why we lead the developed world.
we cannot rely on our inefficient govt to quickly & effectively respond to our problems.
as americans we have to solve our problems independent of the government.
if u need nap time u can move to europe etc where the govt is functional, rational, and takes care of its complacent citizens.
usa is the arena.
the founding fathers intended this.
they lived on undeveloped, separated colonies and banded together to fight the most dominate global power in history.
upon victory they set up the system which eventually turned their formed nation into the new most dominate power in history.
you don’t know better than them.
usa impact on the world is significantly greater than every parliamentary government combined for a reason.

sry i get fired up when someone talks shit about 1776

Article 3 is the shortest of the ones defining the branches of government, but one of them are particularly long. Saying the judiciary is "barely in the constitution" is some nigger tier retarded bullshit.

No. That is how you get bongland and the Founders constructed the constitution specifically because of their experiences with bongland.

>That’s the POINT, fuckwit! You DONT want the government to move fast because of all the tyranny that comes with it.
sure, this is the logic of it and also it was extremely wise for the 1700s. this version of politics went fully extinct in the late 20th century. there's just no way the liberal system can be really allowed in a world with nukes, sarin gas, weaponized ebola and ai.

it's not even an emergency thing. the emergencies are constant and unending. the ship of state has become insanely complex partially without need, but mostly in response to legitimate crisis brought on by the rapid advance of technology.

>>the US in theory can literally do nothing if branches hate one another
this was the brilliance of the founding father's plan. they wanted a minimal government that couldn't do anything at all unless everyone really actually wanted it done. the three branches of government are MEANT to impede each other to keep the beast/the system/government from endless growth.

the problem we have now in america is that all three branches of government collude to scam the american people for the financial gain of the political caste. the judicial branch held out the longest and gave us some sembalance of a functioning government but the judicial has now become as politicized as the other 2 branches over the last 20-40 years, with a huge ramp up with the rise of the concept of 'judicial activism' - of people specifically getting into the court system solely to push political agendas.

whats his face, george soros, even wrote a book about this. how he studied his political donations and their effectiveness. george soros bragged about how he realized it is much more economical for him to donate to judicial campaigns than to traditional politicians. george soros claimed he could buy 10 district judges for the price of 1 congressman. and once soros figured this out in the late 90s/early 00s the judicial has rapidly become just as corrupt and political as the other 2 branches.

it wasnt ALL george soros, but he was one of the big proponents of judicial activists and popularized the method for other political organizations/deranged billionaire donors.

Bro, you and me both. It triggers something inside that gets me into a violent rage. Almost as if attacking or denigrating the idea of the American Republican system is an attack on my very life (ignore my flag). It’s almost as if freedom is worth fighting and dying for. And we are surrounded by enemies on all sides since America’s very conception…

Machiavelli was right, Republics cannot exist if there are still monarchies around.
>>
>>517712944
Americans just get dumber and dumber.
>>
>>517721843
America’s system was taken over by European ills via liberalism (which they were trying to one up Americanism and FAILED). I’m sorry but Europeans and Americans should never mix and that’s the reason why the founders didn’t want immigration from Europe to America until the 1800-1900s and look what happened. Their rot spread to American institutions and now, thank GOD, America is seeing a revival of spiritual and virtues. Let the European ways wither and die.
>>
>>517712944
What you don’t understand is that was the original intention - to make it hard for the government to do shit. That government which governs best, governs least.
We need a Bureau of Sabotage like Frank Herbert came up with in Whipping Star and The Dosadi Experiment.
