Not only do they probably have a smaller population, it's also looking like the % population decline from millennial to alpha is going to be 40-50% (this is what a TFR of 1.20 to 1.00 means). That includes the usually more fertile countryside. With it being much worse in the T1 cities. T1 cities like Beijing seem to only be hitting .89-1.05 TFR depending on which sources you want to use. And it seems to only be getting worse among the educated crowd which would actually be responsible for producing the next generation of high achievers. Think about how often this board goes on and on about how low the libshit birthrate is in the West. China's is worse almost EVERYWHERE in the country.
