I was underage and didn’t know it existed when it was cheap
I knew ETH when it was $5 in 2015.More people became millionaires off of ETH than bitcoin
>>517830606You can buy Chinese stocks and get rich in 10 years. By the time everyone thinks something is a good idea you can’t get rich off of it anymore

I had half a bitcoin in my agora wallet when it got shutdown. It was like 150 bucks at the time. Oh well.
>>517830606my ex wife refused to let me buy it and she never forgave me for it
I learned about Bitcoin here when it was about $50. About the last chance I had to buy a whole one juat regarding my finances etc was probably about $500. And about that time all these hospitals computer systems were taken hostage for bitcoin. So I felt sure it would get taken down and someone here was juat screaming at me about whay an idiot I was and that I'd find how wrong I was. After that for probably a few years my drug dealer offered to facilitate me buying like 1% etc of a bitcoin. I think the last time I saw him it was about 30k
>>517830963The wallet company got shut down?
>>517831023Agora was a darknet marketplace. I'd moved it in my wallet on there and was buying stuff there. Had half a bitcoin when the feds shut down the site. Never really got anymore cause i wasn't buying drugs online anymore.
>>517830965Is that what led to divorce?
I knew about it from around here when it was <$2... might have even be around 20 cents. I was going to buy some -- literally, nothing for me, as I invest anyway -- and... forgot. By the time I realised it had mooned, I was effectively priced out ($10,000+).I knew some kike who bought at 100 @ $100 and sold when it $1,000... Frankly, I'd rather not have bought any, were I instead that stupid.
>>517830606i did but i lost it all.
>>517830606No excuse it was 3k in like 2019. Then 15k in 2022.
>>517830606I've become a neet and lived a couple of years from my Bitcoin. Not amillionaire tho. Lost a bunch due to bad custody. Also invested in a bunch of shitcoins that went to zero. Still better than holding (((fiat)))

For anyone that has missed Bitcoin, you still have Trump coin.
>>517831768Im all in on Bitcoin I pay everything with my credit card when I need money I just get a loan with btc as collateral and either pay my credit card or send cash to my debit. Works for me.
>>517830606I remember seeting buttcoins thread on /g/Never looked into muchThis was years before normies even start hearing about bitcoinI could be a millionare. Fuck my life
>>517831789Did you not hear about Silk Road? When it was about $50 that was still a really big thing to buy drugs in Bitcoin. I assume child pornography too. When I found out about Bitcoin here, very hardcore child pornography was rampant all over 4chan for at least a year or so. So Bitcoin seemed super extra scummy to me and I didnt want anything to do with it. I thought that was too much of a coincidence for these two things to come to prominence here at the same time.
>>517831789When I was a teen, I used to have an IG of me doing yoga in cute outfits. People could pay me in crypto to get access to my private IG where I did yoga in specific clothes, and people can pay to request clothes.

I mined bitcoin in the first weeks bitcoin was around when it was a few cents per coin and you could mine many coins per per hour on one gpu, then I got a rack with HD7950s mining 24/7. Got it all stolen on the kraken exchange many years later. I forgot how many bitcoins I had, in the thousands, that would make me a billionaire now I suppose.Im not mad about it, my life would have been so different, I would not have met my wife or had my children, would have been with a different wife and children and what i got is better than 100 gorillion.

>>517830606stop lying pajetfirst whitepaper was in 2013, it was officialy released in summer 2015 with price around 0.05$ and maybe went up to 2$ by the end of the year. You were clueless, now you moved to canada to shit on streets
My coworker shilled it to me back in 2018 in what sounded exactly like a pyramid scheme sales pitch but when I asked him how to buy it, he completely clammed up so I didn't pursue it any further. Jokes on me but I thought it was extremely weird to try and sell something and then go silent about how to actually buy it, so I thought it was a scam.

>>517830606I was here when it was pennies and vatniggers were mining it with old PCs they found in the dumpsters of silicon valley. I thought it was jewish tricks then and I haven't changed my mind. Enjoy taking the mark of the beast when the feds freeze your coins.

>>517832015Had the same kinda mentality. The only people using it were people buying cp or drugs. It didn't seem like a long term thing to hold. I think a lot of people figured the governments would step in and destroy it.

>>517830606It was a Golden opportunity for people in the tech industry who even understood what it was. But back when it first came out a lot of people scrutinized it and treated it like a joke. And ironically people still do treat it like a joke. But I can tell you a lot of people did not invest in bitcoin when it was like 10 cents or whatever. And I remember that time. So I failed to take the risk. And I remember it reaching like 200 and I bought some. But I sold it at 1000 or something like that. So I could blow it on camping and having sex.
Link, Ada, & doge. Never have to work again. Feelsgood
