Russians disguise mines as firewood and leave them along the border areas of the Kharkiv region, where centralized heating is partially unavailable, Viacheslav Zadorenko, head of the Derhachi community, reported.

"Russian terrorists use so-called 'decoy firewood,' which contain detonators and initiation boards. When a local resident sees such a log and decides to take it home to heat their stove, the mine inside detonates and the person dies," he wrote on his Telegram page.

The U.S. will provide Ukraine with intelligence for long-range missile strikes on Russia’s energy infrastructure, The Wall Street Journal reported.

According to the publication, the data will concern Russia's critical energy infrastructure - oil refineries, power plants, pipelines and other facilities.

U.S. officials say that the United States will share intelligence as it weighs whether to send Kyiv missiles that could be used in such strikes.

It is reported that U.S. officials are asking NATO allies to provide similar support.

This is a very dangerous situation.

Nothing like this has ever happened before.

This nuclear power plant is the largest in Europe.

Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant, which has been under Russian occupation since March 2022, has been disconnected from the power supply for more than a week.

IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi stressed that this situation is unstable in terms of nuclear safety, since "in case of a complete blackout with no off-site power and no EDGs operating, the nuclear fuel could melt if power could not be restored in time."

According to Ukraine’s state nuclear operator Energoatom, this is already the tenth blackout at the occupied Zaporizhzhia plant. At present, the plant is running on diesel generators.

"Russia is doing absolutely nothing to fix the situation or to allow Ukrainian specialists to restore external power to the plant, which under normal conditions should operate without interruption. Russia is deliberately creating the threat of radiation incidents, taking advantage, unfortunately, of the weak position of the IAEA and its Director General Rafael Grossi, as well as the distraction of global attention. To resolve the situation, weak and half-measures will not work. What is needed is strong action and corresponding pressure on Russia to protect lives," President Zelenskyy said.

>This is a very dangerous situation.
>Nothing like this has ever happened before.
>This nuclear power plant is the largest in Europe.

Moreover, yesterday’s targeted Russian strike on one of Ukraine’s power substations in Slavutych caused a blackout lasting more than three hours at facilities of the former Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant.

"This includes, in particular, the New Safe Confinement that protects the environment from the remains of the plant’s fourth reactor after the 1986 explosion, as well as radioactive debris and dust. It also includes the spent nuclear fuel storage facility, which holds 80% of all the spent fuel accumulated during the plant’s operation - a total of more than 3,250 tons of spent fuel assemblies.

The Russians could not have been unaware that a strike on facilities in Slavutych would have such consequences for Chernobyl. This was a deliberate attack, in which Russia used more than 20 drones. Some of them were shot down, but the strike was deliberately organized in a wave of drones to make defending the site more difficult," the President of Ukraine said.

[Q]: President Zelenskyy asked you again to stop buying Russian oil, said that you are siding more with Russia than with America. What is your response to that?

In Poland, a Russian GRU agent was detained on charges of preparing terrorist attacks in Poland, Lithuania and Germany using drones and tin cans that, instead of containing corn, were "filled with powerful explosive material," Gazeta Wyborcza reported.

According to the publication, one of the planned attacks was to take place at a cemetery in Łódź, Poland. Similar explosive-filled cans were also found at a cemetery in Lithuania.

The detained man was also transporting components for drones and SIM cards between Poland, Lithuania and Germany.

An interesting dialogue between Prime Ministers Orban and Tusk:

[Q]: Who's the main threat against Europe right now?

[Hungarian PM Orban]: Economic stagnation and losing competitiveness - this is the danger.

[Q]: Not Russia?

[Hungarian PM Orban]: No, we are stronger than Russia. Make some comparison and base your opinion on the facts. We have more than 400 million people. Russia has 130 and something. Look at the European GDP. It's like that, the Russian is like that. We spend altogether - 27 countries - more on military spending than the Russians. So why we are afraid? We are stronger than they are.

[Polish PM Tusk]: I love him when he uses my arguments.

[Hungarian PM Orban]: The question is whether we have leadership to come together and to defend our interests together - that's what we should do anyway.

[Q]: Why do you think that the Russia-Ukraine war is Europe's war?

[Polish PM Tusk]: It's something obvious in Poland. Nothing abstractive. After the latest events in Poland - I mean the violation of our airspace - this is something very concrete. And the Russian aggression against Ukraine as well. Also, today, the political aggression is more and more evident. Sometimes, it's also a kinetic action, like the hybrid war, shadow fleet, violation of our airspace, violation of our border with Belarus. We have some incidents, some very negative acts, you know, every single day.

This is why the possible consequences of the Russian victory will be dramatically dangerous for Europe and for the whole West. For me, it's something obvious. Yes, this is also our war. In Poland, no one has doubts on this.

Russian foreign ministry spokesperson Zakharova said that the recent parliamentary elections in Moldova can only be called a "cringe circus."

Pro-Russian forces did not win in Moldova, so Russia tries to blame everyone else.

"They were worthy competition for the elections in Romania. This, of course, I think, is a striking reason to reflect on what manipulations with democracy along Western lines lead to. I think the most fitting name [for these elections] is an "operation to save the Chișinău regime," which really turned into a cringe circus," she said.

President Macron's statements during the meeting of the European Political Community:

◾ We are at a moment where Russia is not clearly getting its main objectives. It's not a three-week special operation; they didn't get Kyiv, they didn't change the regime. On top of it, two great friends joined NATO, which is a big strategic defeat for Russia. Now, the question is how not just to sustain the war efforts, but clearly change the dynamic and help Ukraine in this context.

◾ No, Russia is not winning. No, Ukraine is not losing this war, and the situation is very different.

◾ Collectively, we managed to re-engage with the US, and the statements of the US President last week are a huge change if you compare them with ones in the Oval Office a few months ago. It's very important because it's a concrete case of countering the misinformation spread by Russia.

◾ Now, the key points for all of us are to step up in terms of support for Ukraine, which is one of the best ways for Ukraine to change the situation and recover some territories. Another point - long-range missiles.

Borys Kleshchov, Ukrainian rescuer, has spent about 3,5 years in Russian captivity. He finally returned to Ukraine today.

Borys is not a military person. On April 29, 2022, Russians broke into his home in Russian-occupied Melitopol, Zaporizhzhia region, and took Borys away with them. He managed to call his boss and say he was being kidnapped. Since then, there was no verified information on his location.

Borys has been a rescuer for 15 years. Then, Russia brutally took him away and made the next 3,5 years a living hell for him.

Putin blamed NATO for not wanting to make Russia its member in 1954 and 2000 and having "geopolitical and historical stereotypes about Russia":

Russia has announced its readiness to join NATO twice.

The first time was in 1954, in the USSR times.
And the second time was during the visit of US President Clinton in Moscow, I already mentioned that, in 2000.

And both times we got a refusal, straight away.

I repeat, we were ready for joint work, for non-linear steps in the area of security and global stability, but our Western colleagues were not ready to free themselves from the captivity of geopolitical and historical stereotypes, of a simplified schematic outlook of the world.

Except it wasn't a formal bid in 2000 (idk about 1954) and they didn't get a refusal but rather a pathway to the possibility of eventual membership. They veered away from this by invading Georgia and annexing Crimea. Putin never had any genuine interest in joining NATO, but he was not flat out rejected due to this exact possibility of him using this as propaganda line, which he has anyway. The Russian government are such obnoxious lying wankers.

Putin promised that Russia would not attack NATO:

"Turns out, war with Russians is almost right around the corner. They repeat this nonsense, this mantra, all the time. I sometimes watch what they are saying, but they can't possibly believe in that.
They cannot believe what they are saying, that Russia is going to attack NATO. But it's impossible to believe that, and yet, they convince their people of it.
So, what kind of people are these? They are either very incompetent, if they really believe that, as it's impossible to believe this nonsense, or they are just dishonest because they don't believe it themselves but they try to convince their citizens of it.
What other options are there? To be honest, I really want to say, calm down, don't lose sleep."

Such as????
Name a single fucking Russian stereotype that isn't true. Russians are low IQ warmongers that enshittify every concept they engage with, for hundreds of years now.
This is not a stereotype, they prove it every day.
Actually I take it back, there was a stereotype once that said Russia has a capable military. Very embarrassing for everyone who believed that.

Look, I'm as anti-zigger as any sane person, but that certainly isn't true today, and I don't think it has been true for 20+ years already. I remember seeing some out of Russia back in the late 1990s, but they definitely cracked down on it and have definitely been prosecuting people for it since at least 2018. Link to a case where they were prosecuting some anti-Putin activist by claiming that he was photoshopping non-pornographic photos of his stepdaughter:

Yes, and? They also have laws against possession -- whether or not the laws are enforced against real cases or only against anti-Putin activists is a separate issue. Just like whether the laws used against people in the J6 crowd were political persecution or not, especially in light of how BLM rioters and arsonists were treated in comparison.

Why don't the zhills get new material? Their old material about Ukraine bombing children's heart surgeries in the Donbass was at least moving. All this bollox about libruls and kikes is just so boring especially since it's just hypocritical coming from Russia. Anyway this is me screaming into the void about internet posts made by zubhumans.

Another thing to note is that this factory is so far north in ziggeria that it's about 1000km from the Kazakh border. That is to say that the copium that Girkin, et al, used to say that Ukraine is not capable of deep strikes in Russia and that Kazakhstan must be helping them launch drones is demonstrably bullshit.
Even if you take the conspiratorial view that Kazakhstan helps Ukraine to smack pidorussia in the face and Ukrainian drone crews operate with impunity there somehow, you cannot deny that Ukraine possesses the ability to build long-range drones.

According to this vid there were 5 drones that hit the ammonium factory. 3 got the target, 1 was shot down, and another hit a house.

N.B. Dronbomber uses the number 1700km so I'll remember that as the highscore Ukraine has instead of 1800km.

So, You're a "leftist", using too many words.
I respect what you're trying to do, sharing censored information, but even with your commie flag, I can't tell if your message is...
Pro-Russian or Pro West / "Ukraine in Nato"...

All these "anti-jew" initiatives were "anti-communist", because of the Holodomor and Stalinist repression of Ukrainian farms. Katyn Forest Massacre is another example of such purges.

That is how bad your 'marketing' is. And your ignorance of history and the war. Ironically this is why many Ukrainians WELCOMED the nazis!

The soviets even blew up dams in their retreat, drowning one hundred thousand Ukrainians!

Somebody on /k/ brought up why russians steal washing machines and if they don't have laundromats in russia, so I'll just copy it here.

>do they not have laundromats there?
It's a historical thing where people don't trust public laundromats even when they were kinda a thing, instead people wanted to have a washing machine at home at all cost. In later years of the soviet union people with a bit more quality of life (e.g. from larger cities) would often have two washing machines at some point. One main one to wash their clothes and another "baby one", to wash the cloth which was used in place of diapers. Modern single use disposable diapers weren't a thing in USSR. People would use cloths to wrap the kids, kids would shit and piss in it, so it has to be washed, hang dried (driers also were not a thing then, and actually most people still don't have one) and then ironed. It was a literal conveyor of shit. And to avoid having the main washing machine dealing with all that shit a special smaller washing machine would be purchased. Pic related.

Also it's a cool meme in some small circles. I remember 10 years ago a couple RU delusional pidors whines on RU 2ch that russia's culture of interpersonal relations sucked ass specifically because it didn't have public laundromats. The guys would be overdosed on US content with images of guys having to routinely go to the laundromat and thus have a chance to meet with girls there, fall in relations and all that. And these proto-incels would whine that since there's no scenario like that in russia it's the main reason why almost no normal relations exist in russia.

Russia made huge advances in the first week of the war. Since then, they made tiny progress and lost significantly more ground than they captured, most notably losing Kherson without a fight. In return they received billions of $ of direct damage to infrastructure and possibly a trillion $ or lost revenue along with millions of working age people who were either killed, maimed or left Russia. Additionally they lost practically thousands of pieces of military hardware while NATO added two more members expanding it's border with Russia via Finland. Also they Ukraine as a potential partner forever. If their goal (which is still unstated) was to inflict damage to Ukraine I'd say it's about stalemate. If the goal was to install a pro-Russian government there or capturing the four oblasts they made official part of Russia, that hasn't been going well for entirety of the war, apart from the first week. Regardless of the outcome of this war Russia will cease to exist in its current form within 10 years.
