You can't hear what is going on in parts of your house like the entire downstairs if the house is too big. It becomes this big creepy place where crystal meth addicts could have broken in through a kitchen window and you wouldn't know it. Even with a pet Rotweiler it was scary for them. And meth heads would set up their hootches in the bushes in their big garden; the police would refuse to remove them saying: "well they have to have somewhere to live too". I'm happy in my 300+ year old brick house out near the woods. Just wired new electrics and fast fiber to it. No niggers around and nearest little british village is a 5 minute drive away to do some shopping at their mini tescos.
