Logistics and guard duty units do not need more recruits since they have very low casualties. Assault units have huge casualties and lose men constantly and have constant need to replenish their ranks. 3 years into the war only units that need more men are the units with high losses.If you had wanted to join a logistics or a guard duty unit you would have needed to join the army 3.5 years ago when those positions were recruiting at the start of the war. Now only frontline assault positions need more men. Also the war will most likely continue an another year. And if you are assigned into an assault unit you won't survive that year unless you get lucky and only lose a limb. So you could only enjoy the money without one of your limbs or most likely you will come home in a bodybag.
