>/1. After a long pause, Russia is again sending big armored columns into attack. A mass assault with 35 tanks & AFVs on Ukrainian positions took place in the area of responsibility of Azov 1st Corps.
>/2. Oct 9 — Ocheretyne axis: Russia launched a massed assault, 35 tanks & AFVs, preceded by waves of motorcycles, aiming to seize Shakhove.

Results:
•Personnel: 107 Russians KIA, 51 WIA.
•Vehicles destroyed/damaged: 1 ARV, 3 tanks, 16 AFVs, plus 41 motorcycles and 2 light vehicles.
>/3. Assault came in several waves from multiple directions: motorcycles first, then tank/AFV with infantry. Thanks to pre-laid minefields and coordinated actions by artillery and UAV crews, Russia was forced to reroute, lost orientation, abandoned vehicles, and dropped infantry in unplanned areas.
>/4. Volodymyrivka: Russia managed to land 32 infantry; 12 were eliminated immediately, the rest hid in ruined houses and basements. In the evening and night, heavy bomber UAV crews struck those shelters.

By the morning of Oct 10, no Russian infantry movement remained in Volodymyrivka.

Russia was able to manage amassing 35 tanks and infantry fighting vehicles for a massive assault, unlike any we have seen in recent months due to their equipment shortages. Almost immediately, over half of the vehicles were destroyed.

According to the report, on Oct. 9, 2025, Russia launched 35 armored vehicles (tanks and IFVs) accompanied by dozens of motorcycles, in an attempt to seize Shakhove. Ukrainians reported that they killed 107 Russians, wounded an additional 51, destroyed 20 armored vehicles, 41 motorcycles, and two thin skinned technical vehicles.

Most of the damage was inflicted by drones and anti tank mines. Ukraine reported the Russians had totally abandoned the assault attempt by the following day.

>Ukraine will not receive Tomahawk missiles because these missiles are exclusively sea-based, and Kiev does not have such ships, according to Sergey Sidorenko, editor-in-chief of the European Pravda newspaper.
I have been saying it for the longest, Tomahawk missiles are outdated missiles from the 80's, theyre slow as fuck (for todays standard) and can only be launched from a military ship. Hohols here thought they were going to get some gamechanging tech. Looks like they are not going to get anything at all.

>Situation in the Rodyna region, Part X.

This morning, a video from a Russian drone appeared on the Russian channel TG Poddubny (epoddubny) showing burnt-out Ukrainian vehicles of various types near the intersection of the Rodyna-Pokrovsk road with the road to Hryshina (48.32307,37.20346). This is the result of a fierce battle for control of this intersection and the nearby APK-Invest pig farms, which has been ongoing since around the end of August 2025, waged between the Russian 5th and 9th Rifle Brigades (Zmot) and several other Ukrainian units. I was the first, and perhaps the only, person in the world to describe it in more detail in this text from September 21, 2025: xcancel.com/Thorkill65/status/1969…

The wrecks of Ukrainian vehicles (BTR-4, BMC Kirpi, Bvs-10, M1126 Stryker, Kozak-2, M113) visible in the video are the result of many weeks of fighting and at least several Ukrainian counterattacks aimed at pushing Russian assault groups from the intersection, which changed hands at least twice. The vehicles belonged to several Ukrainian units fighting there: the 38th Marine Brigade, the 14th "Chervona Kalina" Brigade, the 425th "Skala" Assault Regiment, and the 79th Air Assault Brigade.

16 missiles to hit 14 energy production facilities, I call that efficient. We can safely say that Russia enjoys full control over Ukrainian skies, even slow moving drones are hitting their mark on a daily basis.

Your fantasy aside, I'll hook you up to the reality of things. Ukraine doesn't have any air defense which means that 95% of Russian missiles hit their mark. For example, today, Russia used approximately 16 missiles and some geran drones to knock out 14 of your energy & gas facilities. Don't get it confused that Russia spent hundreds of expensive missiles, because they didn't.

Kind regards,
Z

>The Central Bank recorded a sharp decline in cash flows in the economy

>Lowering the key rate does not help the Russian economy. Incoming payments made through the Central Bank's payment system fell by 8.1% in July compared to the average level of the second quarter and never recovered. At the end of the third quarter, the decline amounted to 7.3%, as reported by the Central Bank. If we exclude production, oil refining and government administration, which are characterized by sharp fluctuations, the drop was 7%.

>A decrease by the second quarter was recorded almost everywhere: in all federal districts and enlarged groups. The largest decline was in the sectors of external (10%) and investment (-9.2%) demand, slightly less in the sectors of intermediate demand (-8.1%), the minimum decline (-6.8%) in sectors focused on consumer demand, the Central Bank lists.

>At the same time, in September the deepest drop in incoming flows was in the industries oriented towards investment demand: 13.2%. The main victims are the construction of buildings and engineering structures, as well as the production of “other vehicles and equipment,” which includes military expenditures. The decline in revenues was held back by oil refining and automobile sales (in May, the drop in sales reached 26%, then the market picked up) and computer software development. Forced import substitution of software is in full swing; last year it cost the Russian economy 1.6 trillion rubles, according to the TsMAKP analytical center close to the authorities.

>“Enterprises have stopped the investment cycle,” - German Gref, chairman of the board of Sberbank, said: according to him, the state bank has not financed a single new investment project since the beginning of the year - it is only additionally financing old ones. There are fewer and fewer of them - in September at the EEF Gref complained that the volume of investment projects under consideration by Sberbank is minimal over the past five years:

1/2
>>
>>518557211

>“Clients do not launch new investment projects, investment programs and mainly take out only revolving loans, which suggests that they do not see any prospects yet.” The head of Rosselkhozbank, Boris Listov, spoke about the same thing in July: “New investment projects are not coming in either at a commercial rate or even at a subsidized rate <...> We are already talking... about the fact that individual enterprises, even, perhaps, industries, are suspending their activities.”

>The Ministry of Economic Development predicts that by the end of this year, GDP growth will slow down to 1%, and next year it will be only 1.3%, with investments decreasing by 0.5%. The World Bank expects investment to decline this year (by 0.4%) and next year (by 0.2%). The Central Bank expects a slowdown in growth, but not a reduction in investment.

>The dynamics of financial flows indicate that economic activity continued to slow down throughout the third quarter, the Central Bank comments. Its chairman Elvira Nabiullina urged not to confuse the economic slowdown with a recession. Monitoring of enterprises carried out monthly by the Central Bank shows that business activity continues to grow, but everything is slower: the business climate indicator (BCI), calculated based on the survey results, is still in the positive, albeit small (1.8 points in September). But this plus was achieved solely due to expectations: assessments of the current state have been in a decline zone for several months, which is constantly deepening.

>Everything is cooling down, except consumption and the labor market, noted Promsvyazbank chief analyst Denis Popov. According to him, there is a growing gap between the growth of industries focused on the military-industrial complex and the decline in the civilian sector. According to TsMAKP, for January-August it amounted to 5.4%, and industries that provide a third of the revenue of the real sector are experiencing severe financial stress.

How much of Russian refinery equipment is domestically produced and how much is from foreign sources? Can they replace the destroyed stuff?
>>
>Another interesting piece of information from Z-Blogger "INSIDER-T": "Despite the domestic gasoline shortage, Mishustin has ordered fuel exports to China not to be restricted, according to government sources.
>They claim that Beijing has demanded that Moscow maintain or even increase supply volumes to avoid violating existing contracts, and Russia is forced to comply to avoid the risk of losing one of its few stable sources of foreign exchange earnings.
>The sources explain that the Chinese side is insisting on the full implementation of the agreements despite the domestic crisis in the fuel sector. According to the sources, Mishustin has ordered the Ministry of Energy to "ensure priority for export commitments,"
>arguing that international deliveries bring dollars to the budget, while domestic sales have no significant impact on the exchange rate or macroeconomic stability.

As a result, some regions have experienced new supply disruptions. In some areas, gasoline is being sold exclusively through coupons,
>prices at gas stations have increased, and some stations have been temporarily closed. However, the government is convinced that the shortage is "temporary" and blames the current situation on oil companies, which allegedly "do not respond flexibly enough to central orders."
>According to experts, the situation could worsen in the coming weeks: even if domestic supplies stabilize, fuel will continue to be shipped to China under permanent contracts, which Moscow will not risk breaking."

>"It's just redundant." The Ministry of Finance refused to raise taxes on the rich

>An increase in the income tax of wealthy Russians will be “simply excessive” and is not planned by the Russian authorities in the current situation, said First Deputy Minister of Finance Irina Okladnikova. She reminded that from January 1, 2025, a differentiated scale of personal income tax is already in effect in Russia. “No additional changes are envisaged, we believe that it is simply redundant, this will simply be a very large differentiation, the effect will be the opposite,” Okladnikova said at a meeting of the State Duma Committee on Economic Policy. First Deputy Head of the State Duma Committee on Economic Policy Nikolai Arefiev proposed introducing a 60% tax on the income of super-rich Russians in order to replenish the budget. “We have a deficit of 5 trillion rubles this year, and the oligarchs received $25 billion in six months. They pay an income tax of 22%, and in fact 19%. But in France it’s 60%, - said the deputy. According to his calculations, the introduction of the same personal income tax rate on excess income in Russia would allow to receive an additional 2.5 trillion rubles. to the budget. He noted that currently the main fiscal burden falls on “ordinary people.”

>The proposal to increase personal income tax came after the authorities’ decision to increase the VAT from 20 to 22%. Russian authorities are looking for additional sources of income to cover the budget deficit, which, according to calculations by the Ministry of Finance, will amount to 5.73 trillion rubles in 2025. At the beginning of the year, the department expected that it would not exceed 1.7 trillion rubles. At the same time, military spending remains the treasury's main priority. In 2026, it is planned to allocate 12.93 trillion rubles to the “National Defense” section, and together with “National Security” this amount will reach 16.84 trillion rubles, or 38% of all federal spending.

>Russia's largest railway car plant switched to a 4-day week

>Following the car factories, which are faced with a collapse in sales, Uralvagonzavod, Russia’s largest manufacturer of railway cars andalso the main supplier of tanks to the army is switching to a 4-day work week. The reduced work schedule will affect the civilian segment of UVZ, the press service of the enterprise told Interfax. The reason was a drop in demand for rolling stock, UVZ noted, adding that workers will be offered to move to military workshops, which are provided with orders. The main civilian customer of the plant, Russian Railways, put the budget for cars and locomotives under the knife due to a sharp deterioration in the financial situation and the worst drop in freight traffic in 14 years. The holding's investment program, which initially amounted to 1.3 trillion rubles, was cut to 850 billion.

>In Russian Railways itself, which is the largest employer in the economy with 700 thousand employees, also introduced a part-time work schedule: people in the company’s central office were required to take three additional days off per month at their own expense.

>The reason was the sharp increase in interest rates on loans, due to which this year the company will spend almost a quarter of its revenue on interest payments and repayment of loans, which is 6 times more than a year earlier.

>Previously, a 4-day working week was introduced by Tsemros, Russia’s largest cement producer GAZ, Kamaz and AvtoVAZ. Forced layoffs were carried out by Alrosa, the country's main diamond miner, as well as Mechel and almost all metallurgical plants.

>As of early August, 200 thousand Russians were placed on idle time or transferred to part-time employment due to the decline in the civilian sectors of the economy, which, continues since the beginning of the year and, according to CMACP estimates, exceeds 5% in annual terms. Since the beginning of the year, the scale of hidden unemployment has doubled.

>The Federal Property Management Agency refused to comply with the Central Bank's order to buy back shares of the nationalized company from private investors

>The Federal Property Management Agency received trillions of rubles in assets during nationalization, but claims that it cannot fulfill the requirement of the Central Bank and buy back shares of Yuzhuralzoloto (UGK) from private investors. By court decision, the controlling stake in SGC (67.2%) was confiscated from billionaire Konstantin Strukov and transferred to the agency that manages state property.

>By law, a person who receives more than 30% of the shares of a company is obliged to make an offer to the remaining shareholders - invite them to sell shares. The Central Bank demanded that the Federal Property Management Agency fulfill this requirement and initiated administrative proceedings. The Federal Property Management Agency responded that its powers are “strictly limited by law, including the Budget Code,” and there is no legal mechanism for the offer. The agency assures that it is “in close contact” with the Central Bank, the Ministry of Finance, the Prosecutor General’s Office and the shareholders of the Southern Gas Company to “resolve the current situation and comply with state interests.” The closeness of this contact is evidenced by the statement made the day before by Central Bank Chairman Elvira Nabiullina: “This order has been sent, there is enough time.We are still waiting for a reaction."

>The offer does not fit into the plans of the Ministry of Finance, which expects to sell SGC shares in October, estimating their value at RUB 85 billion. Buying back shares will require time and money, and the Ministry of Finance, on the contrary, needs to replenish the budget, the deficit of which for this year, according to amendments to the budget, has been increased by 2 trillion rubles. up to 5.7 trillion. At the end of nine months, the “hole” in the budget reached 3.8 trillion rubles.

>A St. Petersburg official who transferred property to his mistress advised young Russians to become janitors

>Working as a janitor is a good career start, said the Vice-Governor of St. Petersburg, who oversees the housing and communal services sector, Evgeny Razumishkin. “Rotunda” writes about this. The official has been suspected for many years of concealing multimillion-dollar property in the form of expensive cars and apartments, which he transferred to his wife and mistress.

>“Some of the guys who came to us at the very beginning of the transformation as master janitors reached management positions,”— said Razumishkin during a meeting with participants of the “Leaders of St. Petersburg” project. According to him, janitors in the city receive a basic salary of 65 thousand rubles (“front-line workers” receive 100 thousand), and are content with paid overtime, career opportunities and rental housing at a reduced rate. Besides, representatives of the profession feel that they are “engaged in useful work,” the deputy governor added. He also noted that it is necessary to work with parents who do not want to send their children to janitors: “They must understand that this is cool, healthy and promising.”

>In Russia, doctors may be prohibited from working in private clinics without working in state hospitals

>The authorities may introduce restrictions on the transfer of doctors to private clinics from public medical institutions without mandatory work in the latter. This follows from the statement of the Deputy Minister of Health of the Russian Federation Tatyana Semenova, which drew the attention of the specialized channel “Medical Russia”. Almost two thirds of medical university graduates do not go to work in the public health care system upon completion of their studies, the official claims.

>The deputy introduced a bill to the State Duma that would oblige medical workers to work in state hospitals for at least one year before moving to commercial medical organizations. The co-author of the initiative, the head of the health protection committee, Sergei Leonov, specified that in the future the period of compulsory service could increase “to two, three or five years.” The authorities’ measures to “enslave” medical workers are due to an acute shortage of personnel in the healthcare system. According to the head of the Ministry of Health Mikhail Murashko, the country lacks at least 23.3 thousand doctors and 63.6 thousand mid-level medical workers. The most difficult situation is observed in rural areas, where medical institutions lack half of their staff, noted State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin.

>Against this background, from September 1, the government allowed paramedics and midwives who do not have a higher medical education to perform the functions of attending physicians in the absence of specialists. They will conduct an examination, take an anamnesis, perform simple examinations and prescribe medications.

>The police and prosecutor's offices in the regions were instructed to sharply reduce the “non-working population”

>Governor of the Stavropol Territory Vladimir Vladimirov proposed using law enforcement agencies to reduce the number of officially unemployed citizens. At a meeting of the State Council, he stated, that in the Stavropol Territory, out of 1.5 million unemployed citizens, about 350 thousand people aged 23-60 actually work unofficially. “That is, we actually pay 5 billion rubles for those people who work. The Tax Inspectorate <...> needs, together with the prosecutor’s office and the Ministry of Internal Affairs, to reduce the non-working population per year by 50%,”- said the governor.

>A similar position was expressed by the governor of the Kostroma region, Sergei Sitnikov. He pointed out the existence of citizens who “receive real income” but are “in collusion with their employer” and “give nothing to the country.”“I urge you to consider the task not only for the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection, and for the tax service, for the Ministry of Internal Affairs, because these are latent forms of offenses,” added Sitnikov.

>The governors' proposal comes after a series of initiatives at the federal level. Earlier, Federation Council Speaker Valentina Matvienko proposed introducing annual contributions to the Compulsory Medical Insurance Fund for unemployed citizens in the amount of 45 thousand rubles. Soon, the Chairman of the Duma Committee on the Financial Market, Anatoly Aksakov, called unemployed Russians “parasites” who should be required to make contributions to the Pension Fund and the Compulsory Medical Insurance Fund. The Finance Committee of St. Petersburg also supported Matvienko’s initiative. According to its chairman Svetlana Enina,
the introduction of such contributions will “restore social justice” and reduce the burden on regional budgets.

Ammunition factories contain lots of explosive materials, accidents happen. And really, if you think about it, it would be a huge, huge risk for any of America's enemies to do something like this. It's one factory, doesn't severely impact the overall industrial capacity of the country, and nobody has claimed credit for it so you can't even use it as a "warning" for anything. As an act of sabotage all it does is expose the saboteur and their backer to retaliation.

Also, Trump is not Biden. If any kind of evidence of foul play was uncovered Trump would absolutely run with it and make lots of threats about going after who was responsible. You'd see all of America's top enemies line up to disavow the attack very fast, cause Trump would absolutely order retaliation for it like he has in the past.

>There was a major power outage in New Moscow. According to SHOT, in the New Vatutinki area there has been no electricity or water for several hours, and street lighting is also not working. Residents say that the elevators in the buildings were stopped; a woman and a child were stuck in one of them; emergency workers arrived at the scene.

>According to Caution, Moscow, the cause of the blackout was an emergency shutdown at the substation supplying the area with electricity. “Dozens of houses remain without electricity. They are gradually trying to restore power supply, but the accident has not yet been eliminated,” the telegram channel quotes eyewitnesses as saying. The Unified Duty Dispatch Service reported that it was aware of the incident and promised to eliminate the consequences of the failure “in the near future.”

Also, Putin said Russia may soon announce new weapons it “once announced,” claiming tests are going successfully.

He added that Russia is ready to negotiate with the US on arms control, considers an agreement on the New START treaty “acceptable and useful,” and would not see a US refusal as critical.

He noted a certain arms race is already underway and Russia would respond in kind if some countries conduct real nuclear tests, claiming the novelty of Russian nuclear deterrence exceeds that of other states.
