most often it's because their uniforms are made of the cheap highly flammable chink artificial fiber.
other reasons are their radios, battery packs or phones get damaged causing the lithium ion battery to burn.
some of them carry around some type of flammable fluid with them also, several vids of them outright exploding into a big fireball as soon as the drone hits

>The country's largest cement producer, Tsemros, switched to a four-day working week in August, explaining this by a drop in demand for products.

>Russian Railways asked central office employees to take three days off a month at their own expense, two sources told Reuters (the requirement to take two days off was previously reported). Company revenue, according to economists, it is falling due to reduced supplies of coal, metals and oil.

>GAS and KAMAZ switched to a four-day working week in August. At the same time, GAZ said that they returned to a five-day working week in October, while KAMAZ said that the situation has not changed.

>AvtoVAZ employees were also transferred to a four-day working week in September, reported the chairman of the organization’s trade union, Sergei Zaitsev.

>The world's largest diamond producer Alrosa has reduced the wage fund by 10% for employees not related to mining, and also suspended work on less profitable fields.

>One of the leading pulp and paper companies, Sveza, closed a plywood plant in Tyumen in September due to low load.

>One of the largest coal mining companies, Mechel, announced in August the suspension of unprofitable production. According to a Reuters source, the company cut staff in the summer. And one of its employees, a miner from Kuzbass Vladimir, told the agency that he was promoted, but at the same time his salary was cut: “Salaries were cut everywhere, absolutely everywhere in Kuzbass. They say there is a crisis: coal is not in demand.”
>In the first half of 2025, a total of 19 thousand employees were laid off in the coal industry.

>“Quiet” staff reductions are taking place in the steel industry. Almost all metalworking plants are laying off support staff, however, they are not yet switching to four-day work.

>The Chelyabinsk Electrometallurgical Plant and LiAZ also reported on the transition to a non-four-day working week in the summer.

Russia is a bigger loser nation than any African shithole I could name. Another chimp out and claims of turning off Ukie electricity yesterday, only for this entire thread to be full of Ukies yet again.
Not that this is any surprise, everyone has a fucking generator at this point and unlike Russia, Ukraine actually still has fuel.
And so the destruction of the made up country of the so-called "the Russia" continues on.

Well, no not exactly. Europe will never depend on Russia again for the bulk of their energy supplies again, it was obviously retarded to depend on Russia to begin with. Even when the war ends Europe will continue diversifying energy sources as much as they can to prevent Russia from weaponizing it.

Russians no longer have professional army, period. No training, no discipline, no morale. Everyone with training has already died, or few of those serve as veterans - but not on the direct frontline. Professional army is in the past, Wagner doesn't exist either. There's less talk about mercenary groups in general - they are securing vital spots in Africa. What you are left with are mobiks, not even volunteers - Russia is running out of those, too. Only mobiks with one week long "training". Which move forward only because - they know Chechens will gun them down for retreating.

That's not a soldier, but a slave awaiting execution.

Well they know how this goes. Every time Russia loses a war it goes into a collapse or civil strife. Every time. When you guys smacked them around in 1904/5 they had a revolution (it failed but they had to send more troops to just Poland to quell the unrest than they sent to the Japanese front), they had another one in 1917 after they lost in WW1, they had one after they lost Afghanistan. Putin and the KGB goons took over after they lost in Chechnya. Of course they’re afraid. They should be.

Ukraine’s Defense & Military Developments (1/2)
>>> President Volodymyr Zelensky said Russia’s combined use of Shahed drones, cruise and ballistic missiles overwhelmed defenses at several nodes, but pledged a measured response against the aggressor’s infrastructure and a faster hardening of vulnerable sites.

>>> Zelensky warned that Ukraine’s task after the strikes is to answer the enemy, adding that protection must first be secured for 203 key facilities across energy, gas and water supply.

>>> Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi reported Russia’s losses near Dobropillia at roughly 13,000 personnel as of today, noting ongoing clearance around Volodymyrivka after repeated mechanized assaults with 16+ vehicles and up to 75 infantry.

>>> The Ukrainian General Staff listed cumulative Russian losses since the start of the full-scale war, including 1,120,510 personnel and 11,246 tanks, reinforcing the scale of attrition driving Moscow’s mobilization pressure.

>>> Air Force units reported intercepting 405 of 465 drones during the night, downing an Iskander-K and stopping one of two Kh-47M2 “Kinzhal” missiles; a Patriot battery also defeated a “Kinzhal,” underlining the growing effectiveness of layered air defense.

>>> Ukraine’s loitering munition destroyed a 91N6 long-range surveillance radar of an S-400 battery overnight 9–10 October 2025 (location not disclosed by the military); the loss blinded the battery’s early-warning and cueing, forcing Russia to re-task other sensors to cover the gap and reducing engagement range in that sector during ongoing missile-and-drone battles.

Ukraine’s Defense & Military Developments (2/2)
>>> Following Ukraine’s deep-strike campaign, the Kotovo/Korobkovsky gas processing complex suspended part of its operations for three months to address damage from the October 9 strike, signaling sustained pressure on Russia’s energy logistics.

>>> Syrskyi added that during September Russian forces lost about 28,500 personnel across the front, reflecting heavy attrition during failed assaults.

>>> The “Azov” formation reported that holding the Dobropillia line involved coordinating over a hundred tactical-level commanders across artillery, UAV and assault groups—an example of Ukraine’s decentralized, fast-loop command approach.

>>> Special Operations Forces (SBU “Alpha”) employed FP-2 drones to hit Russian troop concentrations and vehicles, while the 73rd Naval Center coordinated unmanned surface strikes operated by National Guard teams to degrade logistics on occupied coasts.

>>> Ukrainian FPV units extended deep-strike reach against Russian depots, fuel nodes and rail junctions, forcing Moscow to disperse air defenses and slow resupply tempos.

>>> A Ukrainian Su-27 executed precision airstrikes on Russian positions near Chervonyi Lyman, supporting ground maneuver and counter-battery fire across the sector.

>>> The 225th Assault Regiment seized a regimental flag of Russia’s 810th Naval Infantry Brigade, a morale win signaling ongoing Ukrainian raids in contested zones.

>>> Discussions with the United States now span Tomahawk cruise missiles as well as HIMARS and ATACMS, with Ukrainian and American teams aligning technical and political details.

>>> President Zelensky commented on a possible blackout in Moscow, stressing that Ukraine will respond to aggression but prioritizes lawful and proportionate actions against military-relevant targets.
>>

Russia & the Warfront
>>> Russia launched a massed attack on Ukraine’s power grid and cities overnight using more than 450 drones and over 30 missiles, triggering widespread outages and emergency blackouts across Kyiv, Donetsk, Kharkiv, Poltava, Odesa, Sumy and Zaporizhzhia.

>>> In central Kyiv a drone struck a residential building, injuring nine people; in Brovary another drone slammed into a house; in Zaporizhzhia a 7-year-old boy was killed and his parents wounded.

>>> A MiG-31 fighter crashed in the Lipetsk region, adding to a string of high-value aviation losses that expose training and maintenance strains.

>>> Russia reported an incident at a rocket facility in Peresvet, Moscow region, with local channels warning about toxic heptyl propellant—another sign of safety lapses amid wartime throughput.

>>> Russian authorities accelerated electronic draft notices and internal travel bans, signaling manpower shortages as the front absorbs heavy losses.

>>> Moscow touted a prototype “low-cost” fighter optimized for mass production, but sanctions and missing avionics threaten timelines and true capability.

>>> Pro-Kremlin commanders eyed a “last push” on the Donbas front for political effect, yet face depleted assault infantry, armor shortfalls and a hardened Ukrainian defense.

>>> Sanctions and component scarcity further derailed Russia’s flagship passenger-aircraft program, with producers lacking critical avionics and certification pathways, pushing serial production into uncertainty.
>>
>>>518595936 (cont'd)
United States
>>> President Trump’s administration engaged Kyiv on a broader package that includes Tomahawk, HIMARS and ATACMS; workstreams now focus on integration, targeting policy and sustainment.

>>> The United States signaled readiness to tighten measures against Russian oil exports—including stricter price-cap enforcement and logistics chokepoints—to compress Kremlin war revenues.

>>> The White House welcomed the 2025 Nobel Peace Prize decision as a reminder to hold Russia accountable for war crimes and support Ukraine’s resistance.

>>> First Lady Melania Trump said eight Ukrainian children were reunited with their families in the past 24 hours, adding that a formal channel to Vladimir Putin exists on child deportations—though Moscow’s replies remain procedural and non-committal.

>>> The United Kingdom delivered hundreds of air-defense missiles to Ukraine five months ahead of schedule and is moving toward producing ~2,000 interceptor drones per month to defeat Shaheds and protect critical infrastructure.

>>> Rheinmetall will supply Skyranger 35 systems on Leopard 1 chassis for Ukraine, with financing drawn from frozen Russian assets—tying legal innovation to battlefield needs.

>>> Drones were spotted over a NATO base in Germany hosting nuclear early-warning aircraft, highlighting the Alliance’s counter-UAS urgency.

>>> Unknown drones were also reported near strategic—including military—facilities in the Czech Republic, prompting heightened security checks and airspace monitoring.

>>> The Baltic states rehearsed mass civilian evacuations, including routes for vulnerable groups and temporary shelters, to deter and prepare for potential Russian aggression.

>>> A ceasefire took effect between Israel and Hamas in Gaza, with forces repositioning to enable hostage returns and humanitarian corridors.

Wasn't even russians, Morawiecki started being uppity about a simple comment, that there was no common strategy for Russia in 2021 because Germany-France and Poland-Baltics had different opinions on Russia. Yet another massive Russian drone and missile attack on Ukraine, which lasted all night. Russia used:

◾ 465 Shahed and Gerbera drones;
◾ 2 Kinzhal air-launched ballistic missiles;
◾ 14 Iskander-M ballistic missiles;
◾ 12 Iskander-K cruise missiles;
◾ 2 Kh-59/69 guided air-launched missiles.

* Kyiv: 12 people were injured during the attack, and the city's left bank was left without power. There were also reports of problems with water supply.

Damage to residential buildings and civilian infrastructure was recorded in several areas of the city. Due to the difficult energy situation, the metro in Kyiv will operate with restrictions.

* Zaporizhzhia: the city was under a massive attack for more than 6 hours. Russians launched at least seven drone strikes on the city, targeting the private sector and gas infrastructure. A 7-year-old boy was killed and seven more people were injured in the attack.

* Kryvyi Rih: three people were injured as a result of a missile strike on the city, two of them were hospitalized in moderate condition. A fire occurred in a building of a private enterprise that was damaged by a Russian strike. It has already been extinguished.

* Sumy region: a 41-year-old man was injured. He was working on the damaged section of the railway when a repeated strike occurred.

* In Kyiv region, homes of approximately 28,000 families in Brovary and Boryspil districts are without power, emergency power outage schedules have been introduced. Similar schedules have been introduced in Sumy and Poltava regions. Russians have also targeted critical infrastructure in Cherkasy region.

The Nobel Peace Prize is awarded to Maria Corina Machado.

The Nobel Peace Prize committee awarded it for "her tireless work promoting democratic rights for the people of Venezuela.

I suppose if Putin kept his promises about peace that he gave to President Trump at Alaska, the Peace Prize would have gone to President Trump.

Whoever stops Putin and Russia's war against Ukraine will get the Peace Prize and eternal gratitude and glory from Ukrainians.

The photo shows an apartment building in Kyiv hit by a Russian Shahed drone last night. It captures the overall atmosphere in the city with painful accuracy.

A hellish night of Russian strikes...

We cherish every moment of life, because any moment, any day could be our last.
That's why we live a bit desperately.

We cherish every moment.

Are we afraid? Yes, because we have children. We fear for our children, for their childhood, for their future.

We know that our enemy leaves only scorched earth behind…

But we are not in despair. We have not given up. This morning, our children went to school, and we went to work.

Because we Ukrainians are very stubborn. We want to survive and to save our land, our families, and our country. That's why, no matter what, we keep moving forward.

May the force be with us.

A Russian soldier shared what assaults are like under conditions of complete Ukrainian drone dominance in the "small skies."

According to him, Russian infantry are sent on missions to consolidate on captured positions with minimal rations - each soldier has two or three bottles of water, one or two cans of canned meat, and a few chocolate bars.

"You can stay on a captured point for 20 or even 30 days (note: this was in 2024; now it can be up to three months, that's the situation)," he says, adding that the reason is that there are no people to replace them, because either they are killed on the way, or the wounded hide, refusing to go.

As for supplies, they're delivered only by drones - bottles of water, some sausage, and, "if you're lucky," a loaf of bread. But if drones get shot down by Ukrainian troops, Russian soldiers have to go without water and food for days, gradually becoming human targets.

Svitlana’s 7-year-old son, Makar, was killed by a Russian attack on Zaporizhzhia last night.

Their home was completely destroyed and is beyond repair.

"The house immediately caught fire, then collapsed. The children were in different rooms. We managed to get Makar out and took him to the hospital. But we couldn’t save him… Our precious boy... So positive... How can we even talk about him in the past tense?" Svitlana shared.

Makar's dad returned from Russian captivity this spring, after being held for three years. He is badly injured, doctors are fighting for his life.

My heart breaks for this family.

It's the same as Minsk 1-2. Merkel and Hollande gets a lot of flak for it, and it was far from perfect, but it enabled Ukraine to defend itself 7 years later. And when Merkel said this, it got twisted, at the time from the Russians into "Minsk was just a ruse to rearm Ukraine". No shit, yes, because they knew it was just a matter of time until rusnigs get uppity again, and they didn't want Ukraine to fall.

First Lady Melania Trump (and my thoughts below):

"My representative has been working directly with President Putin's team to ensure the safe reunification of children with their families between Russia and Ukraine. In fact, eight children have been rejoined with their families during the past 24 hours. Each child has lived in turmoil because of the war in Ukraine.

Three were separated from their parents and displaced to the Russian Federation because of frontline fighting. The other five were separated from family members across borders because of the conflict. I have learned a lot about this matter during the past three months."

A note from me:

If it hadn't been for Putin and Russia, these Ukrainian children would be safe at home with their families instead of being kidnapped and brainwashed.

If it hadn't been for Putin and Russia, Ukrainian children would not be killed and would not be living their childhood during a horrible war. Just today, Putin killed a 7-year-old boy Makar in Zaporizhzhia.

I thank everyone who fights against this injustice and strives for peace in Ukraine.

On the territories of Donetsk region occupied by Russia, 48 Ukrainian children have been placed under forced psychiatric treatment as punishment for "extremism," Mariia Krasnenko, the author of the report How Russia Erases Ukrainian Identity Under the Guise of Combating Extremism and an expert at the CCE Almenda, reported.

In all Russian strategic documents, Ukraine is identified as the main source of all extremist threats. Therefore, in the occupied territories, Russians carry out measures to "combat extremism." They persecute Ukrainians under the guise of maintaining state and public order.

"In the occupied territories, Russians use all possible means of systemic persecution, with a particular focus on children and youth. Education and state youth policy are their main tools in the fight against extremism.

This also applies to the occupied territories. The enemy has developed clear markers to track all 'those who disagree.'

According to the so-called 'DPR,' 161 minors have been held criminally responsible, 48 of whom were placed under forced psychiatric treatment," Mariia Krasnenko said.

Administrative measures, such as fines, are also being applied to children.

Winter is coming. Russian attacks on Ukrainian infrastructure will increase.

Russia has ramped up drone production and is changing its attack tactics. There will be blackouts in winter. Kyiv will be Russia’s main strategic and symbolic target.

The scale of the threat is unprecedented, and no European country could handle such massive, combined missile-and-drone attacks on its own.

Defending Ukraine’s skies is entirely possible if Ukraine and our allies act in unified planning and coordination.

We need help to protect our civilians from blackouts, cold and darkness, and a new wave of refugees to the EU.

Right now, there are two very important areas that Ukraine needs help with:

◾ Generators - to power critical infrastructure and other important objects;
◾ Helicopters with thermal imagers - to shoot down Russian drones that attack our infrastructure.

Of course, helicopters can only be provided by governments, but the generators are easier.

Friends, please help share this post with everyone who might help with these two areas.

Without Ukraine, there will be no security in Europe.

Thank you for firmly standing with Ukraine!
