because they are about as far from stalins communism as they could be
if anything, they are national socialists and have more in common with nazi germany than they do the USSR

national socialism bullies undesirable minorities and favours the majority, communism bullies the majority. your view on China depends on whether you believe China is only bullying minorities (uyghurs, tibetans etc.) or the han chinese majority too.
