It clearly started yawing when the pilot added collective (and went up) which makes sense, as the rotors are biting hard. I don't know why you would increase collective if you were losing yaw authority though, you'd just want to get it down as quickly as possible. I guess it was just a natural reaction, trying to clear the trees. Bad decision though since a crash was inevitable. Increasing collective and then pushing cyclic forward (which is what the pilot did) is retarded.

Regarding an "auto hover" system, those do exist and drone helicopters are a thing. Not sure why you would want one on a helicopter if you have a decent pilot though.
