Of course, many people still do not know why they are upset.
Nations are often sick for a long time, often for generations, without the individual members being able to fully explain the nature of the sickness.
They believe that perhaps it is only about so-called special privileges or about the restriction of freedom of speech or about the politicization of the civil service and so on.
All these things would be trifles in themselves if they did not represent characteristics of a process which has been taking place for many years and whose end will be a horrible one.
We can all sense that now two worlds are colliding with each other.
This is happening now before our very eyes and not only here but everywhere we look.
Neither the man of the left nor the man of the right is satisfied.
And indeed why why did we actually collapse? We perished because for a long time parliamentary shenanigans were committed with the most sensitive affairs of the whole nation but were determined to sacrifice their nation for the existence of their party.
Almost the entire national production gradually fell into the hands of foreign countries.
The debt remains.
The interest continues to acrue regardless of any outside disturbance.
Thus this capital has grown and today dominates practically the whole earth with its immeasurable sums, incomprehensible in its great proportions, growing uncannily and worst of all completely corrupting all honest labor.
In order to accommodate this capital, one must proceed to destroy entire states, to annihilate entire cultures, to abolish national industries.
For therein lies the dreadful thing.
The ordinary man who today has to bear the burden of paying interest on this capital.
In spite of diligence, assiduity, thrift, in spite of real labor, he has scarcely enough left to feed himself and still less to clothe himself.

For every honest working person today must ask himself, "What is the purpose of my productivity at all?" It is natural that the more the causes of a situation are removed from the individual's control, the more the individual will despair of ever being able to change his situation.
The result will eventually be a certain lethagy and indifference, perhaps even despair in the end.
We see no possibility of national pride when there is a well-fed crowd of entrepreneurs and behind them the emaciated and exhausted working people of our nation.
There is a lot of talk today about coming together.
However, the first prerequisite for coming together is understanding.
What use is it if a government issues a decree to save the economy? But the nation as a living entity has two completely different views on the economy itself.
One part says the foundation of the economy is private property.
The other part claims private property is theft.
That is the Marxist movement.
I became acquainted with that movement which exploits the great needs of the broad masses in order to build up an organization whose consequences would inevitably lead to the collapse of the entire modern state extending to all concepts of honor and loyalty, nation and fatherland, culture and economy to the eternal foundation of our morals and faith.
Nothing is spared from this purely negating all destroying idea.
Through this doctrine, it becomes possible for a man of 30 to 40 years of age to become a mortal enemy of his own brother, to call the comrades of his own German blood mortal class enemies.
We know that today they tell us that all that which is called family life is a completely outdated notion from the past.
The wrongs done by the previous generations in their attitude towards the broad masses over long decades are the cause of an everlasting grudge.
The state, for example, says the thief must be punished.

Countless members of the nation, however, reply, "The owner must be punished." One half says, "The basis of our morality is religious life."
And the other half smears, "The concept of God does not exist in reality. Religion is merely the opium of the masses."
They consciously feel themselves to be the vanguard not only of an alien national sentiment and conception, but indeed of an alien state.
Reason alone does little here.
It is the right feeling that does more than all understanding.
The intellect can deceive man.
The sure feeling never leaves him.
The art of all great popular leaders has always been to concentrate the attention of the masses on an enemy.
This alone can bring them to that state of suggestible agitation without which great success is never achieved.
The second instrument of this movement is an unprecedented terror.
Street riots, barricade fighting, mass terror, and an atomizing divisive propaganda are today disturbing almost all countries of the world until finally a very powerful figure came along.
A great man who got to the root of the evil of his time.
He triggered a movement that would not have completely eliminated human suffering, but which pointed out a new path that was decisive.
No one will claim that the German people is healthy.
It is sick.
And this feeling of being sick moves our whole nation today.
Some of course feel good about it.
There are those who flourish precisely when the nation is sick, whose flourishing is indirect proof of the general crisis.
But we also know that they will now try by all means to make the last minds who see disaster approaching in Germany disappear in time.
Either you be my brother or I'll stove your skull in.
This highest good of distinguishing the honest man from the bandit falls into your lap as a bit of good luck in your youth.
Be confident that the more they slander you, the higher you will rise in our esteem.

We know that none of us could speak if it were not for you.
But I must now also address the fourth group which truly reres havoc even if perhaps unintentionally.
These people belong to a relatively small social class.
While the overwhelming majority of the nation has to work hard to earn its daily bread, there are still people in various walks of life whose sole activity is doing nothing and then taking breaks to recover from this idleness.
The more pathetic the life of such a drone is, the more eagerly he will seize upon anything that can give his empty life some excitement.
Personal and political gossip is then eagerly picked up and even more eagerly passed on.
Since these people, as a result of their idleness, do not have a living relationship with the masses of the nation, but rather deny on principle every success and nitpick every achievement for possible faults and weaknesses.
Their lives are marked out by the circumference of their own circles in which they move.
Because their own selves are filled with a void that they always find confirmed in their peers, they see it in everything.
They mistake the views of their circle for the views of everyone.
Their concerns, they imagine, are the concerns of the whole nation.
In reality, this little tribe of drones is only a state within a state without any living contact with the life, feelings, hopes, and concerns of the other people.
But they are dangerous because they carry the germs of unrest, uncertainty, rumors, allegations, lies, suspicions.
We hold to the immutable principle that every decision requires responsibility.
This is why the whole world opposes us.
This is why we are considered dangerous to the state.
And this is why I am forbidden to speak.
Why we are censored? Because we want our whole German people to recover in body and soul from this cursed division.
It is always the same question.
Can this state of affairs still be changed or not?
