everytime food prices come up the farmers say they arent making any money, the wholesalers say their margins are paper thin and the supermarkets say they only make money on soft drinks and actually lose money on milk and bread. like where is all that inflation money going?

Food isnt getting hugely more expensive as such. Whats happening is that mass money printing is devaluing the purchasing power of money causing spiraling inflation. This isnt a food issue or a rent issue or a gas issue, the entire financial system of the west has been set on a course of spiraling inflation and thats not an accident. Its completely intentionalIf you use gold rather than dollars / euros / pounds as your baseline then food prices are only up slightly

You are part right, the inflation is due to money printing but largely a delayed effect from all the QE done since 2008 as central banks have been busy clearing their balance sheets.Inflation is intentional insofar it is a tax on the wage earning part of the population as opposed to the asset owning class. That is it's purpose.
