where do you draw the line for an immigrant or settler becoming native to the land?frankly I would say white Australians are true Australians since they built Australian cities, if not all of them but I guess with that logic you can consider some mexicans true americans if they built houses, though obviously being an architect matters more than being a laborer

We are a mix of the people of the UK with heavy domination of English being the root of it.Thats why their is a hard distinction of Aboriginal because they have no connection to the countries Origin or its original people. That also means those of the UK can easily integration and after a single generation are just as Australian as anyone else with European ancestry also easy to absorb but a perhaps less so then the UK.
