https://archive.is/DuZGeWestern executives who visit China are coming back terrifiedRobotics has catapulted Beijing into a dominant position in many industries “It’s the most humbling thing I’ve ever seen,” said Ford’s chief executive about his recent trip to China. After visiting a string of factories, Jim Farley was left astonished by the technical innovations being packed into Chinese cars – from self-driving software to facial recognition.“Their cost and the quality of their vehicles is far superior to what I see in the West,” Farley warned in July.“We are in a global competition with China, and it’s not just EVs. And if we lose this, we do not have a future at Ford.”The car industry boss is not the only Western executive to have returned shaken following a visit to the Far East.

I guess this is the end of America
>>518820969>from self-driving software to facial recognitionHow about a car that's designed for reliability, privacy and ease of maintenance repair by the owner. You know, the sorts of things actual human beings want.
Yeah spiritually Jewish American businessmen would just love facial recognition and self driving functions because they fucking hate the idea of anyone having any kind of privacy or autonomy. Just slave and consume goy.
>>518820969I want to go to a Chinese factory and start screaming like I know Chinese and I'm the local governor. QUANG LU FO SHUU LAO TU BUUZHAO SHANG LUU TAO FU LO!
Will we score a bingo itt?

>>518820969We were told, years ago, that robot companions would be ubiquitous by 2030. People still act like this is never going to happen
>>518821140Yeah because we make a lot of clothing or cell phones in America still.... We lost all that manufacturing decades ago. Turns out it was a better call. The US has adapted already. Most of the pain will be felt in the SEA regions. If anything the US just imports the robot lines and cuts out the middleman with shipping
The whole notion that bringing back manufacturing to western countries = jobs is becoming a fallacy. The manufacturing industry is going through an automation revolution much like agriculture did decades a go. You're not going to need warehouses full of employees to manufacture items much like you no longer need a legion of farmhands to plant or harvest a farm's crop.
