The pilgrims wanted their own place to practice their way of life. The revolutionaries wanted America to be in control of its own destiny, free from the baggage of Europe. Yet now America is both used and treated as the war hound of European interests. Putting aside the ever-present Jews, has America been infiltrated and compromised by old European royal families/nobility into serving them as they originally wanted?There's lots of anti American rhetoric out there and pretty much all of it revolves around decisions made that conflict with the original American spirit to operate freely and independently of the rest of the world. To mind our own business and do our own thing. But our government behaves as if they are loyal to Europe and it's interests.
