Oh yeah?
It won't matter faggot because this is going to spread across the country:

California Assembly Bill 1043

(excerpt)
> . 1798.501. (a) An operating system provider shall do all of the following:
> . (1) Provide an accessible interface at account setup that requires an account holder to indicate the birth date, age, or both, of the user of that device for the purpose of providing a signal regarding the user’s age bracket to applications available in a covered application store.
> . (2) Provide a developer who has requested a signal with respect to a particular user with a digital signal via a reasonably consistent real-time application programming interface that identifies, at a minimum, which of the following categories pertains to the user:
> . . (A) Under 13 years of age.
> . . (B) At least 13 years of age and under 16 years of age.
> . . (C) At least 16 years of age and under 18 years of age.
> . . (D) At least 18 years of age.
> . (3) Send only the minimum amount of information necessary to comply with this title and shall not share the digital signal information with a third party for a purpose not required by this title.

Yeah, none of that shit is legally enforceable. Anybody with two braincells to rub together can download a non complient OS and install it on fresh hardware.
>>
>>519088984
Its not "enforceable" but it will happen at the manufacturer's before you even get your stupid laptop.
The majority of consumers buy a computer with an OS already installed you stupid fucking retarded nigger because they too ignorant to know how to install an OS on their computer.
Do you fucking understand now?

It's good, but not foolproof. An idiot can still be tracked through Tor. Always use a bridge, and if you want to use a VPN with it read how to set that up properly. Put the VPN between the web and the exit node, not between the entry node and you.

What the fuck does it matter what the unwashed masses do? Are you a retard who doesn't have the agency to put together their own pc? That's your own fault, nigger. If I want to protect my data from these kike glowniggers there is not a damn law they can write that will stop me.
>>
>>519088204
> feds control tor
No they don't, but they do control a large number (10-20%?) of all nodes, which they use to gradually identify persons of interest. After Vault 7 or whatever it was, the Wikileaks CIA leak, they decided to go all in on solving the Tor problem via network exploitation (KAX17), rather than endpoint exploitation (hacking browsers).
If you use Tor hit and run, it's anonymous. If you use it everyday for everything it's more of a free VPN.
>>
>>519089694
I wasn't implying that it would stop you, or me for that matter, and its not just about data leaks. You're right that, 'the unwashed masses,' don't know shit and are NPCs. People are going to have to upload a copy of their ID or some shit just to use an operating system, and that is going to track their every move and click on the interwebzszszsz.
I'm tired of bringing shit up for others to benefit from and then listen to know-it-all cunts like you

have you even seen any of what's been happening in the UK that every other faggot is shitting on as if its exclusive to only bongs, while ignoring the fact that it's happening everywhere else too?
>>
It's been compromised for years. Generally speaking if you want to obfuscate correctly, you need to use a bridge as others have mentioned, and some combination of MAC spoofing.

>>519088204

I have heard that National Guard units have taken control of Tor nodes in recent years so that the FBI can better prosecute crimes that occurred on their nodes. Previously it was harder for them to prosecute or get evidence because the nodes were operated out of the country and it caused legal hurdles. Don't quote me on that last part but that's what I vaguely recall. Personally I think if you're going to go as far as I mentioned, then you have something to hide.

I don't agree with that maxim being used as an excuse for mass constant surveillance but you have to wonder why someone would go to such extremes to use SO much complicated shit to conceal their activity.Tor makes sense for basic level protection in today's internet, but anything added on strikes me as questionable. Should still be allowed to do it though.
>>
>>519091932
> it's a shit show
I use Tor to access the internet. My Tor experience is your internet experience, minus a lot of access to sites that block Tor exit nodes.
Tor isn't a shadowy place.
You're thinking of onion services, which can include illicit stuff, but not nearly so much these days because the feds have become efficient at shutting things down. This isn't 2014 anymore.

Uhh, no. The NG are part time army larpers used for domestic defense. They are not super spies or hackers. KAX17 is run out of Germany, probably on a US airbase.
> but you have to wonder why someone would go to such extremes to use SO much complicated shit to conceal their activity.
I use Tor for 100% of my web activity to avoid mass surveillance of all kinds. If a site doesn't allow Tor, I don't use it, or find a work around. I use archive.ph to access blocked news sites. I use a proxy to post here.
Why? Because we don't live in a free society by default. We live in a rat trap. One use of the n-word and your career in the Young Republicans is permanently over. You didn't bow to the tranny? Cancelled. Did you look at a kid pic? Sorry, but that's 30 years in the slammer. Oh, you want to watch a YouTube video? Here, have 500 supercookies spying on you for god knows which companies and governments.
There's a 1000 reasons to go Tor by default, but few do it. It's my lifestyle.

Most criminals are buildimg their own networks now.

While these could be used to for a cyber attack, it's probably black market stuff.

This is all well and good but why wouldnt they block the website you download tor off, in order to stop new people downloading it.
People are less likely to trust it if they have to download it from a sketchy non official website. Since some people would assume its a fake and a virus.
>>
>>519102916
> Why not block tor-project.org?
UK does that with the Internet Watch Foundation, which is an NGO proxy for government censorship. When 4chan fails to bend the knee, that's how the block will be implemented. After they mop up the VPNs, they'll probably do it to Tor, too, and the UK will be like China.
