Unless your parents jump off the roof after losing their job or you lose your house because of a shit economy, you're probably not very affected by whatever happens. Kids who grew up under Obama (I was one of them) mostly just remember Halo, golden age CoD, early YouTube, late nights with the homies, etc. Kids who grew up under Trump probably just remember Fortnite and COVID, which was like a long vacation from school. Kids under Biden probably just remember Skibidi Toilet and whatever else was popular for kids at that time. I guess if your parents are batshit and can't shut the fuck up about politics or used you for social media clout to push an ideology, you might be a little more in touch with what was happening at the time, but that's on your parents for dragging you into it. By and large kids are ignorant AF to the state of the world, as they should be because there's fuck all they can do about it and they should have the innocence of childhood to enjoy that time of their life before they grow up and realize everything is bullshit.
