Cis women will never achieve liberation from patriarchy without gender-diverse people, without their wisdom, their analysis, their perspective. As much as cis women understand patriarchy better than cis men, because we are oppressed by it, gender-diverse people are oppressed doubly, even triply, and so they understand it more deeply.Not only that, they see the blind spots and biases that we cis women carry. We cannot fully dismantle patriarchy without joining forces with gender-diverse people. This is not a favor we are doing for them; it is a favor they are doing for us.
