Boomer businessmen in the 80s tried to deal with the poverty issue by offering young women in poverty a large grant (something like $100k in current money) if they'd get their tubes tied so they couldn't have children. Lots of people thought it was a great idea because teen pregnancy in poor communities was a rapidly growing problem. Lots of businessmen pledged money to the fund.The guy who started the scheme was invited onto one of those news-magazine shows (60 Minutes or 20/20) to promote the idea. Or so he thought. Instead the Jewish "journalist" accused him of trying to genocide blacks and said he was a Nazi. He thought it was going to be a friendly interview, not an ambush, so he didn't have any kind of retort ready. After the show aired, most of the pledged money was withdrawn as no one wanted to be seen as being a Nazi.
