Has the nuclear family structure completely collapsed in the west?

Maybe in TV it did.
Go outside and get a woman.

Why did anyone think that it would last? Family is not just about material support, it also determines values. When you atomize families instead of having large networks that form an economic unit you can't utilize mechanisms like honor or shame to regulate behavior. When you have the mass media, sophisticated telecommunications networks, and school systems that expose people to new ways of thinking and opportunities then obviously it doesn't work. If the West wants to survive it needs to make it harder for people to survive without being part of a larger family structure. And these families need to have reputations. In Albania we still have vendettas, and while it's not a perfect system it ensures that you don't just act in your own interests but also that of your flesh and blood.

We had that during communism.
You were paying more in taxes if you were not married after 25. Literally incel tax.

No, not yet. But it is at least 1/2 or 3/4 there by now.
You are witnessing the American version of the Cultural Revolution in real time.

How many women have divorced you before you got your current nuclear family?
>>

Every country has that, they just market it as a rebate if you are married and more for every dependent after that instead of considered extra tax you pay if you aren't married and don't have dependents.

Maybe if you were born in the 1900s that was still an option, grandpa.
