Even testing basic stuff like fully formatting a USB flash drive caused it to heat up insanely fast and it probably would have exploded had the format not been cancelled and the drive removed. This is the second distro he's tried (previous was Ubuntu many years ago like I did then too) and it is so bad that even completely formatting it the hard drive doesn't remove this malware (you have to use specific Linux tools).He's now on Windows 11 which says a lot (to me at least). I'll probably just stay on Windows 10 for now because Windows 11 is such a piece of shit for other reasons.
