Why are Americans and White Europeans against parents euthanizing the severely mentally disabled?

Birth rates would go up with parents don't have to worry about pre-natal screening not catching certain extreme disabilities, since they could euthanize them like during Third Reich times.

They did have that and insurance corporations saw it as a problem for people collecting big $$$ from the life insurance policies and pushed to make it so that even if the kid is born retarded or disabled, oh well, your problem.
