The unusual robbery took place at around 3:40 a.m. on Monday morning on the A93 motorway in the Kelheim district.According to BILD information, the three suspects used signals from their vehicle at the Aiglsbach highway exit to get the coach, which was carrying ten passengers and a driver, to leave the A93 and stop.Robbers demand money and documentsThe robbers then got out of their vehicle and pretended to want to carry out a check on the coach. According to police reports, however, the armed men demanded cash and documents from the passengers.According to the police, no one was injured in the robbery. On Monday evening, the police were unable to say how much money the criminals had stolen in the robbery.“After the robbery, the suspects fled in a white VW compact car in the direction of Munich,” a police spokesman told BILD. The perpetrators' vehicle is said to have had a license plate with the abbreviation WR for Wernigerode (Saxony-Anhalt). The search for the getaway vehicle was initially unsuccessful. The police did not provide any further details.
